The boys suit up for a cuddle party inside a custom-sewn pajama onesie crafted by Eric himself, and settle in to watch Peter Greenaway’s 1985 arthouse oddity A Zed and Two Noughts. Along the way, they wrestle with time-lapse photography of real decaying animals, an onslaught of wieners, porno–Wes Anderson–style symmetry, and some very horny snails. Not for the faint of heart—this one dives deep into some seriously heady, disturbing territory. But stick with it, trusted listeners… the weirdness just might be worth the ride.

Hello! You know dolls. The toys, I mean. Yeah, you do. Know who else knows them? Stuart Gordon, it turns out! This week, we watch Stuart Gordon's under-appreciated 1987 killer-toys fairy tale: Dolls. It's got killer teddy bears and evil parents and toy soldiers and punk nip slips and a witch and a man boy and man oh man the hits keep comin' and they don't stop comin' fed to the rules and we hit the ground runnin'. Come for the Gordon but stay for the boys' night time beauty routines. I'm so tired from eating candy this description barely makes sense.

The story so far: After a year and a half underground, we've made it to the best time of the year!
Sadly, we've hit the end of Sellout October 2025! During October, we watch mainstream horror movies that people have heard of before. And after trick-or-mole-treating around Mole City, we were gifted a film as a little treat, and it turned out to be The Monster Squad from 1987! It's a first time watch for one of us (can you guess who?!), and we bask in the glory of Stan Winston's amazing costumes, discuss the constant necessity of virgins in horror, talk way too much about foreskin, and just shower this movie with love! As Sellout October comes to an end, we hope you all have the spookiest of Halloweens!!!

September 15, 2025 Punishment Park (1971): The one where we learn to get scared again
The story so far: After spending this much time trapped in a small, underground VHS rental store, Greg’s worried that he can’t feel any more.
Welp. We recorded this a week ago and, yeah, the world’s only getting crazier.
This week, we discuss the 1971 pseudo-documentary Punishment Park, a film that anticipates American fascism by pretending that due process is abandoned so that cops can take their rage out on minorities and activists. Sounds totally implausible, right? Right?? But don’t worry! If that all sounds too heavy we also find a way to keep from maulding too much (it involves a plastic whoopee cushion. Don’t worry about it, it’ll all make sense, just listen). Is it a masterful film that deserves every bit of our attention? Yes! Is it an incredibly difficult watch that will haunt us for months? Also yes! Enjoy?
