This week, we deal with the mental and emotional consequences of our time travel actions. Knowing we're in the presence of some sort of evil cult, we dive into Enter the Devil (1972) to try to learn more about it! For a movie on the video nasties list, it's lacking in a lot of areas, but we talk about it and only veer off topic occasionally to discuss monkey bones, The DEER Hunter, cults of compliments, and stripping train conductors.

This week, we come across a brand new molescroll that's been hiding from us which could allow us to time travel! But, being a bunch of buffoons with little knowledge of how time travel works, we decide to check out Timecrimes (2007), the twisty time travel film from Nacho Vigalondo! As the concepts of non-linear time and predestination break our brains, we discuss our love of pac-man piggy banks and smashing glass, Greg's empathy for Hector's ordeal, our possible reactions to our future selves reaching back to us, and theories about the universe, simulation theory, and everything! So hop in your pool of white viscous fluid and join in on the fun of this timey-wimey trip!

Hello! Remember Deathstalker from a few weeks ago? This week we're diving into the sequel. Swords, boobs, pithy one-liners, bad plotting, wrestling rings, and Monique Gabrielle almost steal the show, but we manage to spin off a new food delivery service so things are still weird and normal. While Eric is off on a journey of reflection and relaxation, Greg worries that the underground could be filled with more monstrous creatures like Moleman! To help ease our minds and get ready for potential monster attacks, we check out the Frogman monster flick from 1980, Rana: The Legend of Shadow Lake, directed by Blood Harvest's own Bill Rebane! While discussing the similarities of the two films, we dive into life's real existential questions: Do frogs have bones? Can chickens swim? Does Bigfoot have a tickle kink? And are aliens cryptids? The story so far: Balls.

Hello! This week on the podcast, the boys use a totally mature method to land on watching a classic 80's Soviet children's film that's got space ships, planet-destroying chemical weapons, hairy 4-armed archaeologists, time travel, dragons, magicians, screaming birds, the Baba-Yaga, and balls. Will we get swept away by all the hallmarks of Soviet cinema? Or will the movie convince us that there are those at the top who control the means of production and then there's the working class that enables those means by selling their labor power, so when there's conflict, the ruling class tries to blame the working class, and therefore we should believe the working class needs to revolt against capitalism and bring about socioeconomic emancipation? While trying to exorcise Dan's demons, we discuss touching rocks, bible camp paintball, Greg's college hair style, Budweiser boys, and how special effects and gore gags really do the heavy lifting in this movie! The story so far: A year after being trapped in a magical underground movie rental store. Eric is back, Dan and Greg are recovering from their fungal adventures, and it’s time to get weird. 

This week, the boys pry open their peepers and glue them to Anguish (1987), a mind-melting horror trip directed by Bigas Luna and starring Zelda Rubinstein and Michael Lerner. As they try to resist the film’s hypnotic grip, they spiral into discussions about movie theater snacks, eye trauma, and mommy issues. Grab some Reese's Pieces, protect your corneas, and prepare for a podcast about a film… within a film… within a film… (Is this real life?)

The story so far: A year after being trapped in a magical underground movie rental store, Eric has been missing for 2 weeks and Greg and Dan are beginning to fall apart without him.

This week, join most of the boys as we drive a flaming FBI van into the gasoline-soaked heart of 1997's The Rage. It's got cars, car guts, Gary Busey, hundreds of cops shooting people, David Carradine, boat chases, an mutilated wing wangs! Will we salute the flag and join the FBI? Eric is missing, Moleman is to blame, and Dan and Greg kick off year 5 with a little hoedown of their own! While discussing podcast powerhouse Fred Olen Ray's 1997 film Bikini Hoe-Down (aka Mystery on Makeout Mountain, which is an awful alternate title), we get down to business and wonder why the girls are named after months instead of seasons, debate leaving things to the imagination, remember pay-per-view fuzz, and fantasize about washing machines with big butts.
