The story so far: Almost a year ago, the boys got trapped in a magical movie hole, and as a result Dan is beginning to show signs of scurvy...
This week, join the boys as we break down the infamous 1980's musical disaster The Apple. While learning about the history and plot of the film, we also discuss the history of Cannon Films, when underground movies are too above-ground, the sledgehammer of bad subtext, soft 80s bodies, and how hard it is to keep saying words like Bibi and Bim with a straight face.
Also, Eric mentions his Maine Brewing Company beer is supporting a good cause. It started as a joke but actually it's pretty cool. You can learn more about Wolfe's Neck Wolfe’s Neck Center for Agriculture and the Environment here:

The story so far: In the magical movie hole, the boys emerge from their turkey-induced food comas. However, the relentless barrage of horror flicks is starting to mess with Greg’s psyche. Can he handle another movie, or will his brain finally short-circuit? Tune in to witness the slow unraveling of one man’s sanity.
This week, Greg’s in a funk, and no, not the groovy kind. To cheer him up, Dan and Eric take a stab at watching I, Madman, the 1989 supernatural slasher. Together, the trio tackles life’s biggest mysteries: mirror monsters, books, Jenny Wright’s hotness, and most importantly, cargo shorts. Oh, and the band Train somehow gets dragged into this. “How can a dead man touch you?” Grab your popcorn and your questionable fashion choices to find out, this one’s a wild ride!

The story so far: Still trapped in the magical underground movie hole, the boys are celebrating the holidays as best as they can!
Happy Thanksgiving! We're celebrating with our best friend Handy and his giant extended family! While the sentient severed hands are preparing dinner and making a mess of the place, we decide to get into the spirit of Thanksgiving by watching the 1982 man vs nature film Calamity of Snakes! Will we be scared away from the non-PETA friendly film, or will we distract ourselves by discussing Eric's past new years resolutions, redesigned apartments, and how much real violence in movies we can actually stomach. So pull up a chair, grab a plate from Handy's family, and join us for our kind-of-Thanksgiving special!

Hello! How are you? We're doing great. Join us as we dive into R.O.T.O.R. (1987), a movie that's wriggled its way into all of our hearts as an instant so-bad-its-good classic. Part Terminator, part Robocop, part Judge Dredd, and part lobotomy, we follow the story of a scientist cop who builds a perfect killing machine robot cop and races against the clock to bring it down. We also talk about giving horses caffeine, muscle mommies, gym class, and sassy b's.

The story so far: After stumbling down a mysterious dried-up well and tunneling through the stone walls to search for an escape, the boys have been trapped in a mysterious, underground, 80s-era-inspired VHS rental shop called Moleman's Movie Hole for months. Recently dying and coming back to life has left them with concerns.
After drifting through space and heading for heaven, the boys are back to life in the Movie Hole, and are visited once again by their savior Moleman! Eric, now having died 3 times, is looking to stop that from happening again. Moleman brings him a gift and the foursome sit down to watch Godfrey Ho's martial arts classic(?) Ninja Terminator (1986)! They have a lot of questions about the logic and plot of the movie, but at least they figure out where to buy a vintage 1980s Tyco Garfield telephone!

Becoming disembodied, the boys float through space, heading toward whatever the afterlife offers. But space is big, and they have time to kill, so they pop in a ghost tape of Jason X (2001) to keep them busy. The conversation, much like the afterlife, is full of questions like:

Now, in their final week celebrating spooky season with Sellout October, Greg gets a mysterious note thrown down the well...
Happy Halloween! Join the boys in the final week of Sellout October as they hack and slash their way through the gruesome new horror franchise: Terrifier. This week, they break down the plot of the first film in the franchise and discuss all the other Art the Clown-related films in the oeuvre. Will they be horrified by Art's handiwork? Or will they get too distracted praying to ghoul gods, praising pizza, and admiring director Leone's dedication to men getting head'd?
A heads up to the squeamish: if you don't dig discussions about very, very violent things, maybe skip this one?

The story so far: After falling in a well and living in an underground movie store, the boys are now celebrating Sellout October!
The boys anxiously sit and wait for Trick Or Treaters to show up at the bottom of the well, and get in the holiday spirit by watching the classic Fright Night (1985)! To distract themselves from the potential harsh reality of no one showing up, they delve into discussing their upcoming Patreon-exclusive show, all the unsubtle subtext throughout the movie, their ideal vampire masters, and vampire skateboarder extraordinaire Tony Bat! After unveiling their Halloween costumes to each other, the boys sit down to take a trip with Jason Voorhees to the Big Apple and watch Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan! While questioning the film's controversial and misleading title, they delve into the lack of gore, their love for harbingers of doom, the innocence of bumpkins first seeing NYC, and our DREAM Friday the 13th film about Jason in an amusement park! Join us for week 3 of Sellout October!

The story so far: Its Sellout October in the movie hole and the boys' celebration is in full swing.
After Greg gets trapped with his head in a bowl of vodka, the boys discuss their viewing of 2000's Final Destination, one of the few 90-00's horror franchises that actually brings something new and interesting to the genre. Along the way, they also get distracted by how spiders are scarier than plane crashes, how American Horror Story is mid at best, revolving door poops, and how Wes Craven's Shocker is TOO DAMN LONG.
