Mercury's about to peace out of Virgo, Venus is ditching Leo, Mars is limping through Libra, and we're heading straight into our second eclipse of the season. This is that specific flavor of exhausted where you're simultaneously done with everything but also weirdly ready to burn it all down and start fresh. It's giving "confidence camel heading into the desert of uncertainty" energy, which sounds insane but is actually exactly right.
By the end of the week, three personal planets plus the Sun will all be in new signs. The vibe goes from spreadsheets and checklists to negotiations and optics, from maximalist Leo romance to Virgoan maintenance love, from Mercury’s red pen in Virgo to its scales in Libra. The whole story is: you can’t keep doing it the old way, and you definitely can’t keep doing all of it.

This week starts with an eclipse on Sunday and is mostly about learning how to be steady while the ground’s wobbling: keep the soup on the stove, the calendar elastic, and trust that the clarity you’re waiting for shows up on Saturday like a knife finally slicing clean through the knot.

Alright, everybody lock in. Remember months ago when Saturn was like "I'm going to Aries!" and then immediately was like "actually, wait, I forgot something in Pisces"? Well, Monday it's officially going back to check its work. This isn't Saturn being indecisive - it's Saturn being Saturn, making sure you actually did your homework from March 2023 instead of just shoving it under your bed and hoping no one would notice.
And because the universe has a sense of humor darker than mine, we're also getting a lunar eclipse in Pisces on Sunday. So while Saturn's like "let me just review your rough draft," the eclipse is like "cool, but also let's emotionally purge everything you've been avoiding since early last year." It's giving group therapy session meets tax audit, but make it cosmic. At least Mercury's entering Virgo on Tuesday, so our brains will be sharp enough to handle whatever emotional debris we're about to excavate.

Leo season starts this week, which means we're entering that time of year where we're supposed to figure out who we are, except this time Mercury's already retrograde in Leo so we're doing it with half our brain offline. It's like trying to have a personality crisis while your mental browser has 47 tabs open and they're all frozen.
After spending the last nine months getting our asses handed to us by various planetary configurations that made us look at all our defensive patterns and power struggles, we're finally at the part where we actually have to integrate all those lessons. The universe is basically like, remember all that shadow work you did? Time to actually change now. And we're like, cool cool cool, except everyone in our life is used to the old version of us and now we have to have awkward conversations about how we're different now.
The week opens with Mars sitting on the South Node while Venus squares the whole situation, which is astronomical speak for "your growth is about to make your relationships weird." Because here's what happens when you change: everyone has opinions about it. Some people are going to be genuinely supportive and update their mental files about who you are. Others are going to act like you personally betrayed them by evolving. It's going to be a whole thing.

This isn't your standard retrograde clusterfuck. This is more like realizing you've been speed-running a major life transition since March and now someone's asking to see your work. The spring was a whirlpool of identity crisis when Mercury and Venus were retrograde together while Saturn and Neptune were literally changing signs. Now we're in the summer slowdown, except it's less "lazy river" and more "mandatory performance review of your entire sense of self."
