While getting ready to call every single postseason game, Tim Kurkjian still found time to visit Starkville. The guys start with some October travel nightmares before previewing some of the best 2020 Wild Card matchups. Tim explains his love of tracking the 25 lifetime home run leaders for every letter of the alphabet (it's a thing). Jayson, Doug and Tim go on to share Joe West stories and decide what rules should stick in 2021. Finally Doug blows Tim's mind with the unlikely tale of Michael Jordan losing a pickup game to a bunch of baseball players. As always the guys finish with listener trivia and Strange but True.

The best team in the American League is currently the Tampa Bay Rays and centerfielder Kevin Kiermaier visits Jayson and Doug in Starkville this week. Kevin gets into the long running rivalry between the Rays and Yankees and looks ahead to a potential playoff meeting. He also compares the 2020 Rays to some of the other great teams the organization has put together. Cardboard cutouts may look great on TV, but Kevin explains that they've made life tough on Major League defenses.
