This story is pretty lit and the game that Rondel Roach supplies for us today is very insightful for anyone trying to create a brand from a-z on their own.

Rondel is the co-founder of the soap brand Bombd Aesthetics alongside his business partner and wife back around 2018. The origin story of the soaps was to help their daughters who were born with sensitive skin. 

However, there was a demand for the soap Rondel and his wife was making. They eventually go to making 5-6 figures, hiring multiple employees, and getting a warehouse to supply and distribute the soap.

We have Rondel to break down the story and teach us the following:

• How at the beginning of the entrepreneurial journey you're going to suck but you will ultimately get better (for example, the first set of creatives around the products were very basic and elementary but over time is has a professional look. Go check out their Insta.)
• How creating content and creating a community was everything in the success of their brand
• Why you shouldn't care about a product being too saturated
• There's no such thing as taking an L. Instead its an experience you can learn from
• How to use Instagram alone to get more brand awareness and sales using paid shoutouts, influencers, and ads.

Nike is a supermassive brand that has a massive cult following around the world. This can be seen across its social media channels and the revenue it generates every year.

In this episode, we explore Nike's website to explore its aesthetics and try to reason why it is the way it is. Using Similarweb, we've seen that the Nike website gets over 100M monthly visitors!

On social media, they have over 200M followers with Instagram accounting for 183M. The awesome thing is that they don't shove content down your throat in order for you to buy a pair of shoes. Instead, they curated valuable, motivating, and entertaining content that compliments what their brand is all about.

If you're a fan of Nike or an e-commerce entrepreneur, there is a lot to learn but just exploring Nike and its respective channels:

So many middlemen are being cut. If you want to watch a movie, you can just go on Netflix in the comfort of your home. You do not need to get into your car, wait in line, and buy snacks to watch a movie. For food, you no longer need to go to a restaurant. Uber Eats and Instacart can deliver food to you.

With the rise of at-home tech and workout equipment, Boxx is a beautifully designed punch bag and smart trackers.  Boxx wants to take your at-home boxing workout to the next level.

As of this moment, they've already surpassed the asking pledge amount of $13,342. They've raised $196,729 thus far. Let's dive in!

It's easy to say that traditional marketing is dead but that's false to some degree. Marketing at the end of the day is all about getting a potential customer's attention with a call to action of some sort. Either you want them to learn about you, buy from you, or set a little reminder that the brand is still around.

I'm really excited for you eCommerce entrepreneurs on this episode. I think what we're about to discuss here, David Perry and I, is going to help your brand tremendously if the right steps are taken of course.

David Perry is the CEO of Carro, a collaborative commerce application on Shopify that will allow you to connect with existing influencers that are already fans of your brand.

You don't need to spend time DMing influencers and things like that because Carro already does that for you. But that's not even the thing that I think is the coolest.

I think it's cool and effective when there are brand collabs or partnerships but this is often seen with 7-9 figure brands. With Carro, they are essentially giving you white-glove service (as an influencer or brand owner) to connect with other brands.

They enable you as the influencer or brand owner to sell each other's brand products that will ultimately lead to a higher average order value and obtain new customers.

CVS is closing 900 stores! Looks like they are going to shift their focus onto health as they've already (kinda) accepted defeat in some aspects of their retail strategies.

Walmart is really going all-in on e-commerce and live stream shopping.  They are hosting a live stream event on Twitter and a bunch of other platforms. As a matter of fact, they've partnered up with Jason Derulo to be the face of the event! Influencers and content creators must be licking their lips as this trend of live stream shopping will boom!

Welcome to the first episode of the New Crowdfunding show where we explore the different brands and crowdfunding projects on Kickstarter and Indigogo.

Today we will explore a Kickstarter campaign based off in Amanase, Ghana where the brand/company The Impact Chocolaterie is creating organic, hand-made, vegan chocolate.

They have crowdfunded multiple projects but this one is geared towards their new line of pralines. What's cool is that the chocolates look amazing and their whole factory and packaging have a low carbon footprint.

The factory in which the chocolate is made is solar powered and the chocolate packaging is bio-degradable.
