Today, Speaker Johnson politically screwed us in broad daylight by passing the worst bill of all time against the will of a majority of the GOP conference. I go into great detail about how this was our best opportunity to win both politically and on the border. It’s also indefensible how nobody is calling on Trump to use his clout to oppose this stuff. If we don’t focus on down-ballot primaries and making red states red, nothing will matter regardless of what happens in November. I paint a vivid picture as to what will happen even if Trump wins the election unless we build a parallel movement. The best thing we can do is to change state party rules on how primaries are conducted. We have the ability to change red-state GOP members this cycle if we only paid attention.
