G’day Gday you lovelies. Today’s episode topic is, Italian Fairy Tales! Yup! And I’ve got my Red Balloon, Rubeus tea, and am ready to share the tales! Our first story is Myrtle, where the gods take pity on a husband and wife, providing them with a child….completely of myrtle! A fairy child in fact, whose beauty attracts the love of a prince – beauty enough that he’d give his own eye for it.
These two tales are really quaint, and pulled me in when I started narrating them. There is something unique and special - like you lovelies - about these stories that I'll never tire of. And I hope you enjoy them!
Thanks to your support Mayah, as always, I’ve been able to purchase a better wifi dongle. Sounds silly, I know, but my previous one constantly would drop out, and this new one is soooo strong and sooo solid I don’t have to worry about uploading my videos or audio to you lovelies, to only have to do it again…because of some random drop out. I was quiet about it but thanks to you I’ve been able to resolve that issue, saving me time and heartache. Thanks Mayah, you’re a Godsend.
Mate I hope you’re doing fantastic – thank you as always for your kindness and ongoing support. I’ve been putting your support into covering Epidemic Sounds costs, and general subscription costs which I would normally do without. Thanks to you, we can have new music and sound effects, essentially monthly – I’m building up a new set of audio in preparation to use those effects, so keep an ear out. Cheers Lezza, you’re one epic dudio!
Thank you Paige for your wonderful self and lovely email. I always have a blast reading them, you are the gift that keeps giving. I’ll be responding this weekend, so keep an email ear out for when it hits your inbox. Just wanted to say thank you for your support and kindness, I’ve been able to cover off website subscription costs, and general maintenance which I’m so glad that I don’t have to worry about – thanks to you, and people like you. Cheers Paige, you’re brilliant!

Thank you, you amazing people. Honestly without your help this show would be drastically different. And your support goes such a long way in finding stories, and reaching out to authors, that I’m always blown away at how generous people are. And because I don’t run adverts in any capacity, well…I’m doubly lucky to have the support you guys and gals give me. Thank you so much!!! 💜💜
G'DAAAY you legends! 👹👺
It’s still pouring down in good old WA, and the rain isn’t letting up unfortunately.
Unfortunately another short intro, but I'm aiming to return to normal Friday.
The Monster Maker, written in 1944 by Ray Bradbury, focused on getting a mercenary / criminal called "GUNTHER" is one such SCI FI story that I loved narrating - and I hope you enjoy it to.
Calling it now, has to be the most fun SCI read I have done in a verrrry long time. Unique characters, fun dialogue, interesting concepts of traps in space, and creative way to solve mentally taxing and scary problems.
Mates thanks for your awesome support and I hope the weather returns to normal by Friday! Lots of love your way mates 💜
Crazy weather at the moment, so my apologies on the outro thank you's being pushed into the intro section. I have a feeling that I'm on borrowed "power" time as it were, so I've pushed everything into the beginning. BUT I have for your two episode from Sherlock Holmes that I know you'll love. The first one is crystal clear whilst the second has heavily damaged, but repaired to the best of my ability.
I hope you enjoy both tales: The Demon Barber and the Indirection of Mr Edwards - murder, mystery of course, but also paranoia, confusion, and trickery! Enjoy you amazing people, and the weather I hope will calm down this Wednesday.
As I mentioned in my introduction, it's so bad where I am that we had to cancel a birthday get together....crazy!
Today mates I bring you one Creepypasta about Vampire, Cults, and Mystery, plus four poems to tickle your fancy. I hope you enjoy these tales mates, as they cover the below themes - Isolation, Loneliness, Depression, Angst, Loyalty, Mystery, and Magic!
Enjoy you lovelies!
Mate I was on the verge of pulling my hair out the last two weeks as I recorded and recorded and constantly would pickup pops and clicks in my recordings. I couldn’t figure it out, so I used de-clickers as a band aid fix to resolve the pops and clicks – but it was only temporary. So I had an idea, to replace the connector between my computer and my Blue Yeti – then boom, problem, at least so far, completely fixed. I’ve bought a couple more adapters to ensure that I don’t run out of backups, but thanks to you, my audio stress levels are zero again. Thanks Mayah for your support, it means buying parts to keep my recordings clean are no longer an issue. So thank you very, very much.
Mate thank you for your support dudio, and I’ve used some of your donations to fund the purchasing of both the de-clicking, specialised de-reverb plugins for my audio. Sometimes my room gets a little bit echo-ey as a result of where I record, and there are clocks in the background that click and tick away. I don’t mind them but I don’t want them in the recordings, thanks to you, I can use those plug-ins to cut them out, without a hassle. Thank you immensely mate, you’re awesome Lezza!
Mate, thank you for your support Paige. Thanks to you I’ve been able to renew a license that I use for audio improvements and have been able to use your donation to cover some of the cost for upgrading to the next set of tools. I’m always looking at ways to improve the show, and as a result you’ll be hearing changes in the audio already thanks to your support. I’ve also been able to use Patreon support for Voice Modification software which you would have heard of in today’s episode. If you, supporters, or listeners have any feedback regarding the voice changers, let me know. Thank you Paige, you’re brilliant.
