Unfortunately today's intro and outro won't be the full length as my voice is shot, from being sick since last Friday 🤒 and I still have the blasted coughs. So I spent a small chunk of my day editing and remastering, whilst trying to also get some rest. My apologies to you living legends that are my Patreon supporters but I haven't had a chance to prepare my thank you's, but rest assured I should be back to normal Wednesday.

TWO episodes have been remastered for your lovely selves, and I've cut out any content that was severely damaged, re-organised the audio to ensure it was sensical (some of the episode was organised strangely), and cleaned up all the buzz/hum/static from the original audio itself. Thankfully that doesn't require any vocals on my part hehehe.

Thank you all you legends for your support. Now this Friday I won’t be releasing an episode as I have a family catchup, particularly to meet and discuss a cancer prognosis. This family member will undergo surgery but the surgery itself is carried out frequently, relatively common, and quite low risk.

Mate, day in, and  day out, I’m constantly finding ways to improve the show. Thanks to you I can look at old plug-ins, update them, and plan on purchasing new plug-ins to resolve any issues I run into. 

Currently I’m exploring idea’s on a new DAW – Digital Audio Workstation, so instead of using Audacity, I might experiment with ProTools, Reaver, and Audition for example, to find what options those tools provide. There are architecture difference for sure, but at least with your support I can entertain the thought of using them. Thank you so much Mayah, you’re bloody marvellous!

Mate I’m super stoked this weekend, because, guess what I finally found time to square away to respond to you. Folks I take my response to my supporters and listeners super serious, and sometimes my time runs away with me. The Sorceress of Knowledge, the weaver of intrigue, and the conjurer of thought – mate it’s an absolute whopper of a day because thanks to your support I can purchase a new cable to power my Graphics Card that is really…on the way out. You can imagine that I have 680+ episodes, going through each one is just not viable at this point. So I’m using a plug-in, that I can now pay for, to automate this process.

Blasting a hole in any Podcast fiscal issues, mate thank you so much for being your brilliant self. With your support I’ve grabbed this neat little plug-in that allows me to create noise profiles for my audio, and tweak the point of which audio and noise meet in my Old Time Radio episodes. What this allows me to do is gradually fine tune what audio is white noise static, versus what we can hear on our speakers. Quite powerful, and I’ve been saving up to grab it for quite some time.

Thanks to you I’ve been able to pay my subscription once more for not only hosting, but also for Adobe Photoshop payments. Every couple of months it comes through and it’s sooo good to have that covered. So thank you immensely Mayah, I’m able to produce artwork where I otherwise would be stuck with some kind of Photoshop knock off. And being trained in using Photoshop, this is such a godsend. Thank you for being amazing, as always – and also, thank you for such a lovely email, that made my week.

This time I’ve put your lovely support into more access to Filmora X. Filmora X is my Adobe Premiere alternative – seeing as one, I don’t want to fork out THAT much money every time just to edit some videos, and two I need super low level editing, nothing crazy. So yeah, Filmora X gives me that access. Thanks to you man, I can now use it, and I spent most of my weekend learning and applying that knowledge to my Youtube video’s.
