Rainbow Raaja and Yovanka Sanchez talk about the importance of representation in stories and the power and impact of the stories we consume via television and cinema.  Yovanka's mission focuses on supporting young girls and women understand how to become the "heroine" of their own lives through opening the door for more equality, diversity, inclusion and awareness around gender-violence.

Yovanka is the founder of La Mariposa Films, a media brand anchored in storytelling, creating, and developing content that celebrates women and puts them at the center of every story.
Also, she is a media expert with more than twenty years of knowledge and experience in front and behind the cameras. Having worked and collaborated with many high-profile ladies like JLO, Serena Williams, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Machado to name a few and many powerful partners like CNN, AJ Plus, NBC, Hearst Television, Telemundo, FedEx, WeWork, Raw Juce andmany more, she has become a rising influence in celebrating women's untold perspectives on screen.

Yovanka is fluent in 4 languages and has travelled and lived around the globe because of her father's diplomatic career. She combine’s her own unique upbringing and global perspectives to her creative projects & productions, speeches, and workshops. Her work has helped women and young girls understand how to create structure of their "heroine" story for clarity and direction in their businesses, lives and missions. But today she also wants to help big corporations, brands and organizations understand and see the power in “women stories”.
