On today's episode, Jason and Producer Rob G share their thoughts on the Los Angeles Lakers' wild play-in victory over the Golden State Warriors. Steph Curry looked as good as ever lighting up the Lakers for 37 points, but it was a one-eyed (seriously) LeBron James who hit the dagger 3-pointer to give the Lakers the win. LeBron, Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder were flat out bad for most of the game, but The King and AD made just enough plays in the fourth quarter to steal the win. All the same, they'll need to play much better if they have any hope of repeating as NBA champion. Speaking of winning titles, after what we saw from Steph and Draymond Green last night - not to mention the return of Klay Thompson and a slew of assets - perhaps the Warriors championship window isn't closed after all. Later, legendary sports columnist Peter Vecsey joins the show for a fiery discussion covering a myriad of topics, including: why he supports Kwame Brown in his recent social media war against former players and analysts, his affinity for Larry Bird and eventual falling out with Magic Johnson, why he thinks that Charles Barkley is a fraud that never maximized his potential during or after his NBA his career, how 'Dr. J' Julius Erving ended up becoming the best man at his wedding back in the day, his big issue with the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame, his yet-to-be-finished book featuring behind-the-scenes stories about Bird, Magic, Michael Jordan, and much more!
