Each one of us has grown up watching Disney cartoons such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy and we owe our childhood to them. However, once you get to know about these alleged dark secrets of Disney and its parks, you would doubt the company’s efforts to bring you the “happiest place on Earth”. Even now as the Disney corporation seems to be expanding the company’s image is almost flawless to many. The corporation is taking over the film and television industry after purchasing some of the world’s most recognizable franchises in Star Wars and Marvel as well as obtaining rival film studio FOX and all its properties. However, behind the scenes, not all is as it seems, whether it’s exhausted workers at Disneyland resorts or Disney’s darker origins at the animation studios the company or even man himself isn’t as perfect as they would have us believe.... Surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest is the former site of a brick mansion, now lying in partial ruin. Hand-built in 1977 by Dr. Charles L. Scudder, a retired professor at Loyola University in Chicago, and his partner Joseph “Joey” Odom, the mansion served as the couple’s dream home until their deaths.  In December of 1982, the pair were gruesomely murdered, along with their two bullmastiffs, as a result of an attempted robbery by two acquaintances, Avery Brock and Tony West. During the ensuing investigation and trial – fueled partially by a local media circus – a mythos evolved in which the victims were vilified as “evil devil worshippers,” drawing from Dr. Scudder’s interest in the occult and the pair’s open homosexuality. Despite having been very well-liked in the community by those who knew them, the horrendous mythos continues to this day, and many locals still refer to the area as, “Devil Worshippers’ Mountain,” and claim that taking a brick from the property will lead to being cursed for life.... Psychoactive mushrooms have been used for thousands of years and have a long history of both medicinal and ceremonial use among indigenous peoples in many parts of the world, including Europe and the Americas. Some historians suggest North African and European cave paintings from 9,000 BC may allude to magic mushrooms. It’s also known that Aztec rituals included a hallucinogenic substance called “flesh of the gods” that might have also been ‘shrooms. It feels safe to assume that ancient cultures were using magic mushrooms. Tomcat and Anton are joined by Shayn from inquiries of reality to discuss their use of the psychedelic mushrooms and how influential these fungi might have been across human history!   Follow all the madness on social media! In January 1959, a 23-year-old hiker named Igor Alekseyevich Dyatlov led a journey to reach the peak of Otorten, a mountain in the Northern Urals of Soviet Russia. The young man brought a team of eight experienced hikers along with him for the adventure. Before he left, Dyatlov had told his sports club that he and his team would send them a telegram as soon as they returned. But that telegram was never sent and none of the hikers of the so-called Dyatlov Pass Incident were ever seen alive again.. This bizarre event has left people scratching their heads for over 60 years and on our two-part series Tomcat, Aran and Anton will be leading you on a voyage through a snow covered mystery full of questions and conspiracies! It's back to the basics as Tomcat and Billy kidnap the listeners to talk about a very famous true crime case of the Abduction of 3 young girls.. Between 2002 and 2004, Ariel Castro kidnapped 21-year-old Michelle Knight, 16-year-old Amanda Berry, and 14-year-old Georgina "Gina" DeJesus. Over the course of the next 11 years, he repeatedly raped, starved, and abused the young women, even impregnating Knight and Berry. On May 6, 2013, after realizing Castro had neglected to lock the “big inside door,” Berry began screaming for help. Two neighbors heard Berry’s pleas and quickly kicked a hole through the bottom of the storm door. Berry then crawled through the hole with her 6-year-old daughter – the biological offspring of her brutal captor – in tow. When on the phone with 9-1-1, Berry exclaimed, “Help me, I've been kidnapped, and I've been missing for ten years. And I'm here. I'm free now!" Shortly after, officers entered Castro’s home and rescued Knight and DeJesus. Ariel Castro was arrested the same day.  Follow the Madness on Social Media! www.patreon.com/strangebrewpodcastwww.strangebrewpodcast.com Strange brew's INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/strangebrew... Strange brew's FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com/strangebrewpod TOMCAT- https://www.instagram.com/tomcathipho... ANTON- https://www.instagram.com/h.p_shovekraft/?hl=en Anton's Twitch- Twitch @ invaderdaggett_ttv Strange Brew's Twitch @ strangebrewttv

The Maryland Goatman is exactly what it says on the label. It is a creature that appears to be half man, half goat. It is known for terrorizing lovers, chasing down teens with an axe, and decapitating dogs, as well as squealing and making goat noises. There are many variations of how the mythical Goatman came to be, including an angry goat herder gone mad and seeking revenge on teens who killed his goats, something resembling a Bigfoot creature, the result of a genetic experiment, or even simply an old hermit who lives in the woods and wanders Fletchertown Road at night. Cold bloodied murder anyone? Join Tomcat and Aran as they discuss one of Ireland's most infamous true crime cases. Of all the horrific murders carried out in recent times, the killing committed by Charlotte Mulhall – one of the notorious Scissor Sisters – stands out for its sheer gruesomeness and brutality. That two young women could stab and beat to death their mother’s boyfriend and then dismember his body shocked and appalled the nation. Charlotte and Linda Mulhall sank to extreme levels of depravity when they cut off Farah Swaleh Noor’s head and penis and then dumped his chopped-up body in Dublin’s Royal Canal. To add to the horror, they were caught on CCTV eating breakfast rolls shortly after the murder – with the victim’s head still in a bag on Linda’s shoulder. *No Scissors we're harmed in the following case*   Support us on Patreon! www.patreon.com/strangebrewpodcastwww.strangebrewpodcast.com Strange brew's INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/strangebrew... Strange brew's FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com/strangebrewpod TOMCAT- https://www.instagram.com/tomcathipho... Find First Class Horror on all Podcast Platforms!  LINK BELOW..  https://linktr.ee/FirstClassHorror
