When she retired from the force, Kristi believed there was a better way to help by taking a proactive approach, rather than a reactive approach. Now she is the author of 'Operation Kids Safe' (a detectives guide to child abuse prevention). She's also the Director of 'Cape AU', which stands for child abuse prevention and education in Australia.

Carla Tierney is a brave and resilient Studio Owner from a small country town about two and a half hours north of West Brisbane, Australia. A town known for mining, meat works, and farming, that has a high level of the community on social benefits.

Carla has had the trifecta when it comes to challenges, including a decrease in mining which majorly effected the local work opportunities and clients. Her area also experienced a drought, which meant that cattle farmers and crop farmers were unable to produce, again, leaving the community financially vulnerable. Then, came the a pandemic, which is a story we all know too well.
