  • 69: How to Sort and Prioritise your Creative Projects

As creatives, we can lose our minds when it comes to the 'big pie in the sky' ideas as we focus on the next shiny thing. Oh... being creative is so much fun!!

Today is going to be about the flow of ideas that we have and how we can sort through them so they can be prioritised according to what you need and desire for your business.

We also need to look at the energy input of an idea - from it's inception to its execution and if when you look at the whole picture, is it truly what you want right now? Or is it something you can create in the future?

In my online event, I will show you not only how to goal set effectively, but also give you the tools to create realistic and sustainable timelines for each goal, so you can TAKE massive and immediate ACTION!

If you want to have a profitable and sustainable studio business, committing to writing a plan is the first critical step in moving forward towards your dream studio and desired business environment.

I have been doing 90 Day Planning Sessions independently in my business for nearly a decade. It has helped me go from servicing 12 students in my early days, to hundreds of students a year and achieving a comfortable multi 6 figure studio business where I pay myself a salary and have financial stability and joy in my life.

A 90 Day Plan is the key ingredient to achieving your goals and I can show you EXACTLY how I do it (all on one page). Yes! This is not an essay but rather a tangible resource you can use over and over again in your studio every quarter.

In my 90 Day Planning Workshop, I will give you my template resource, what points I include and together we will work through yours live, so you can walk away from the workshop with a plan for your studio ready to go!

My workshop, is going to take you to the next level in your business and give your studio the makeover you both want and deserve.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

  • 61: Coping with Stress in the Dance Industry with Kristin Deiss & Michelle Loucadoux

How do you cope with stress? In this episode we explore the importance of asking ourselves this question and discuss mental wellness in the dance and performance industry space. To lead this conversation, I am joined by the creators of Danscend, Kristin Deiss & Michelle Loucadoux.

Danscend's mission is to bring mental wellness to the forefront of dance training by providing a space for education, application, and community to dancers, educators and professionals alike.

These ladies have been working together in the education field for seven years, and created this business due to the overwhelming need that they observed in their students. Both creators wrestled with various issues in their professional dance careers which we touch on in the show.

Kristen and Michelle have created resources that they wish were available when they were beginning their dance careers, such as their free eBook, "Coping with Stress".
