I posted on my Instagram page recently @josephinelancuba - a quote from Walt Disney which is, "If you can dream it, you can do it". I love this quote so much!
So how do we go from being dreamers to doers? Let's explore this with episode 80 of Business, Arts and All That Jazz; as I share with you my 5 steps to reaching your goals.

Have you ever heard the saying "What Got You Here, Won't Get You There".
I truly believe this is how successful people think and grow their businesses. Whatever you did to get you to this point within your studio biz has been great! You made it this far and I am a believer that you are exactly where you're meant to be (right now).
BUT, if you want something to shift or change within your business or life, and if you want to grow and develop further, something has to change. Doing the same old thing isn't going to move the needle in your business. In this episode I share how I make impactful moves in my business.
Imagine what your studio would look like, if you had a plan, achieving everything you strive for every 90 days?

Have you reached a point where you don't want to teach anymore? It can happen!
Sometimes as Studio Owners we feel DONE. TIRED. NON INSPIRED or perhaps it is simply a case of wanting to focus your attention on other parts of your life or business.
Even if it's not you just yet, tune in because it could be you in the future. So let's talk about it and get REAL in part 2 of my 3 part series... Real Talk!

Introducing "Real Talk", where I bring REALNESS into your ears each week for 3 weeks so you know that you are not alone.
This 3 part series is designed to help you overcome the possible challenges that many of us feel in our businesses and in this episode, about all the things that are super real in your studio.
So! Let's peel back the curtain on the truth. Part 1 is where I discuss being a parent in your studio and juggling that role of CEO and mum! If you've got kids or family that attends your studio, it can be a little bit tricky but it can be beautiful too.
Let's leap in!

I'm talking about what I believe to be a chronic problem in the performing arts industry. That is suffering from starving artist syndrome.
The problem is that we don't know how to value ourselves at times, because we're so passionate about the art, creative process and the giving our of our energy to others, we can put ourselves secondary to our craft.
I get very personal in this episode and share my experience with overcoming my starving own starving artist mindset.
Ultimately I can give you all the systems and payment processes in the world, but unless you believe in your core that you are worthy of what you want and need from your clients and business, then any system I give you is redundant, because you need to believe it, to action it.
Let's talk about money blocks and self reflect. Enjoy the show!
