A little more about Doctors On Demand founder John Neilson …

Righto, let’s meet today’s business superstar, or as he likes to refer to himself … an old fossil!

John Neilson is a qualified pharmacist with 49 years industry experience.

Over that time he’s opened 26 pharmacies, ran a pharmacy broking business as well as a medical centre. 

For a time he owned and operated Koala Beach, a business selling sunglasses, hats, sunscreens, cosmetics and fragrances to pharmacies across Australia. The company had 14 sales representatives and at one stage was the largest hat importer in the country.

John’s also been actively involved in several major property developments in Queensland.

If all that’s not enough, he’s the co-founder of Doctors On Demand … a 24/7 Telehealth Service providing online doctors appointments, medical certificates and prescriptions.

Oh, and he’s also one of my ocean swimming buddies.
