On Monday I mentioned that I spent the day in the mountains of Colorado - Frisco to be exact.
While I was there, I spent some time in my friend Ash's art studio called The Sunny Side Up Studio. They have drop in workshops and scheduled art classes for toddlers, kids and adults.
It's just a great place to be creative, and Ash even sells a lot of her handmade art there, which is pretty fantastic.
The fact that I can call Ash a friend is also fantastic, especially since I only met her a handful of times.
In fact, the first time I wandered into her store, Ash instantly welcomed me and treated me like a friend.
She took the time to get to know me, and learned about Say It with Gratitude.
She was so warm and welcoming and full of positivity.
My type of person! :)
It's the way you should feel when you enter someone's store.
Have you ever walked into a business and felt like the people that worked there didn't care about you?
No hello.
No warm greeting.
This is the exact opposite of what you'll feel when you walk into The Sunny Side Up Studio.
You'll feel like you've walked into an old friend's house.
And that's how you should be making your customers feel.
Like an old friend.
And guess what?
I'm a sucker for art with positive sayings.
But usually when I leave a place that sells this type of art, I leave without buying anything.
Well I've been in Ash's studio a few times and have bought 3 pieces of her art and a gift card.
That should tell you something.
It's all about the way she has made me feel.
Now go out and make someone smile today! :)
