Our pal Riley talks about learning whitewater, becoming a guide, organizing amazing weekend get-togethers, their killer garden out back, winter camping, joining the board of directors for Paddler Co-op, how the whole point of living in Toronto is so that you HAVE to drive 4 hours to get to a tripping destination, and so much more.

From their name you can probably figure out what they're about.
They run wonderful camps for kids. Their certified instructors teach all the levels of white water canoeing and kayaking. They also run courses where you can become a certified paddler in multiple formats and at multiple levels. They also run Wilderness First Aid Training courses - highly recommended!

Have a listen and help out with the fund raiser if you can.

Another great chat with the Grand Pooba of The Outdoor Adventure Show!
We highlight a handful of presenters from an absolutely stellar list across 3 stages. Tim chides Fred for putting the whitewater demo pool between the 2 stages he'll be trying to sprint back and forth from.

Our chat ranges from epic trips all over the world, to bucket list tripping, to cool exhibitors, to e-bikes, to sightings of some of our favourite content creators.

The show starts in Toronto on Feb 23-25, followed by shows in Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. Get all the info & tickets here: https://outdooradventureshow.ca/toronto-visitor

Working her way up from a point and shoot film camera to a DSLR with a zoom lens, getting her pictures out to non family members in the early days of facebook, getting paid to camp and take pictures of the great outdoors, having articles published in the local paper and Explore mag - Josie does all the cool stuff!
