He thinks we might be related due to an affection for Tetris.

His Dad  was big on videoing  their outdoor activities when he was a kid. No surprise that he's a content creator.

He's a fantastic storyteller that loves paddling whitewater.

Meet Ben Beauchamp - an amazing backcountry camper and YouTube video creator.
He made Kevin Callan's Favourite lesser Known Paddling YouTubers list in 2023!
He lives about a 3 km portage from us & drops by for a chat about camping with family, when to not take all the video gear on a trip & a very cool experience with a couple of Ontario Parks Superintendents.

Two of our favourite people, one of Tim's sisters and her wife drop by to tell us about a semi-recent land purchase that happened a couple of hours north east of Toronto. They're part of a collection of folks that got together specifically to do this, with the intent of being good land stewards. Helping others connect or reconnect with nature. Improve mental health, Eat amazing food grown on "The Land" as it's known. And generally find a space where they can get away from the nuttiness of the city & spending all day staring at a computer screen.
Come have a listen.

We, obviously, talk about fishing, but we also talk about the "scam" of winter camping, taking your kids into the backcountry, kayak vs canoe, and fish waffles - wtf?
