From there, she moved to Los Angeles and took on the role of Director of Operations at Standard Property Company, where she led the development and management of affordable housing projects nationwide.

In 2015, Sydne founded MRK Partners, and since then, the firm has grown to own and manage over 4,000 units across 21 affordable housing properties. But that’s not all—MRK has an exciting development pipeline of around 1,000 more units.
