Now that I have the habit of recording and publishing content, the comfort level is there, I can start expanding what’s next.  I’ve begun playing with some lives, and hopefully live interviews will be soon.

I love the toys and the tech I get to play with…  I am having a ton of fun!  Ty Waylon!  MV 88+ allows you to use a cord so you have the mic further from the phone…  I had this inspiration on where I thought things may go for me…  Did a facebook live to introduce an interview and it was super fun.   People would learn something, it would be fun for them, and it would gratify my ego so Win Win Win!  There was a lot of writing before I started the podcast…  There was a lot of soul searching.  Now the back log of episodes may be a problem…  The live streams could be different content.

Last episodes thought, “Publishing!  That's a whole different ball game…”.  continues…  Of course I get distracted by the covid chess match and some other cool thoughts. And finally I get to the point of  "one of the big benefits of the tension of learning how to publish".

I would like a round of applause last episode clocked out at 7:57! (not including intros and outros).  I wrote out scripts for the first round of episodes…  Do things feel like a Herculean effort sometimes?  For some people it seems that it’s not a herculean effort or that it looks easy for them.   I used to let go of attachment to get what I wanted!  I’m a human with an ego that likes shiny objects and I like to feel like the shiny object.  The point: Due to the work on the first 6 episodes, tech, scripting, production, etc…

 I’ve gained momentum with the podcast.  Delays in publishing my 6 episode launch allowed me to record a backlog of episodes.  And currently the creation of the content is no longer an issue.  (And I throw in a sprinkle of meditation and a dash of the covid)

The goal is the 8 minute episode today!  Meditating for an hour every morning is so powerful.  Putting the ego to the side for enough for that things can unfold beautifully…   Creative ideas flooding through me.   It was initially my main worry.  How am I going to come up with content to publish everyday.  I have a back log of episodes that serendipitously came about.  The Herculean effort of the 6 episode launch.  Walking in the days of covid; I just like the chess match of social distancing.  In the beginning The initial recording is actually pretty easy.   Publishing, well, that’s a whole different ball game!

My Idea is that the more supportive of others I am, perhaps I will open the space for people to be supportive of me.  Even better, perhaps I will see how people are already supportive of me.  This idea is peaking as I have insecurities around sending supportive emails to people I don't really know.   And I throw in some stuff on projecting my crap onto others, being open to alt spiritual ideas, not knowing others paths, etc.

Frustrated with friends that aren’t supportive of me.  And how I could better support others, and not from a critical standpoint.  My standpoint/lens is 34 years of recovery.  Be open to the idea of infinite ways to grow…  After 34 years I finally order the Varieties of Religious Experience.  Distracted by all the radio controlled cars n planes n stuff.   Just because it is not in my frame of reference does not mean that it is not real.  Seemed like Matt and I were talking about spiritual experiences but in different languages I think.  I want that kind of an email.  It’s time to be supportive of people and the people that can be supportive of me will show up, so embrace that.  Or maybe I can now start hearing people as being supportive.

Let’s start with examples of the “the rules don’t apply to me”.  To the pain that brought me to the summit in the first place.  And maybe Matt wants to be on the summit?  He was in crisis mode and came out the other side gracefully.

Follow the rules already…  Part of my journey is “the rules don’t apply to me”.  Or give me the rules and I will figure out how to skirt around them…  Matt Cox was like; I’m not going to be a starving artist so he starts committing forgery.  And if not for the love of a women…  I just got the why he was getting teased about “Cocks”.  It’s really the dogs learning how to manage the people not the people learning how to manage the dogs?  Alls I know it sucked and I wanted it to stop…  Finding acceptance of that place and then moving forward from it.  He was in literal prison, I was in mental prison, how do you find peace in that place and then move forward from there?  Do I want to be in the spotlight or help people be in that spotlight?  Cause that shiny object is a battle.  When you are perceived as having your act together, and then you come to that space of “SHIT” i feel like my act is not together…

Matthew Cox was #1 on the Secret Service’s most wanted list and he did his prison time.  In part #1 we get introduced to Matt, just how funny he is, and just how f’ing hard it may be to go from prison, to a halfway house, to a new life on the outside…

For those of you who don’t know Matthew Cox; he was Number One on the Secret Services most wanted list for stealing $11,500,000 dollars and committing $55,000,000 in mortgage fraud all while on federal probation, all while he was on the run, all while he was committing more fraud.  Matthew Cox was profiled on American Greed, Dateline, etc.  Ultimately Matt was captured and sentenced to 26 years in prison.  In July 2019 he was released from prison after 12.5 years.  While in prison he began collecting and writing the true crime stories that he had the privilege of hearing…  So now Matt writes books, has rediscovered his passion for art, and… He’s smart, articulate, and may just have discovered the secrets to finding peace of mind…

My last name’s “Cocks” you got nothing on me.  The only benefits of being 5’6”…  The transition from prison to halfway house, trust me you would rather do your time in prison…  Always trying to loose 5 or ten pounds just like the rest of us.  the anxiety was…  What's gonna happen to me?  “My skill set I am no longer able to use”.  How am I gonna survive?  What am I gonna do?  Nothing I have experience in can I work in any more.    He was so concerned, PO was like, In a year, you are rebuilding your entire life…  what if it takes longer than a year?  He explains to her…    Tell me about Danny on Koncrete -  Danny, “You wanna grow your following then start telling prison stories”…  “I don’t want to do that”.  Publish Publish Publish and the algorithm will kick in.   Dating apps: The shrink even told him “stop being so honest.”  Writing gave him a purpose…  he enjoys the true crime, not the serial killers..  Talks a bit about his new writing project…  John long, of the Chinese Triad, computer chip theft on massive scale and fraud including Chinese officials; even a president gets involved.  He can relate to his subjects.  He can understand them and what drove them to this point even if they don’t.

I discuss how I have been searching many times over my careers, but that I currently feel like I’m living with purpose, in-spite of the frustrations involved with my current project.  Included are some funny thoughts on my college days and my mortgage days.

Recap Myron Golden and momentum.  Some times I feel insecure if I don’t have traditional “business success”.  Is it ok to have open thought loops in your content?  Do what allows you to produce the content.   I can embrace the messy message.  The identity crisis and my undeveloped identity.  In my college years I thought I would be a professional gambler.  Saying you're good at gambling is like saying you're good at drinking and drugging.  Laughing about the mortgage days, what you can legally do in the mortgage business is crazy.  What I liked about the mortgage business?   I don’t care what the label is, but that space sucks!  For today I have summit clarity.

Myron discussed momentum in business and if you have positive momentum it doesn’t matter what the circumstances; you will thrive.  I relate this to momentum in my personal growth and the covid.

One of the most interesting things he said, which I loved, I related to personal growth.  I am in a personal growth faze myself. For the last 4 or 5 years I have not been focused on my traditional success measures…  He was talking about momentum in business; if you have momentum when the next challenge comes you will thrive.   The rough edges Covid is sanding down: Money illusions, relationship illusions, the need for validation and adoration.

In my meditation this morning I had this god centered security in the center of the storm (It’s windy as heck outside!  I mean batten down the hatches windy).  Which is analogous to my current experience with my online summit project.
