He's finally arrived, this week is part one of two where Andrew and Diana talk about the new Netflix series Luke Cage, specifically episodes 1-7. Luke Cage may be bulletproof but is this show, are there too many storylines, how do the fight scenes compare to other Netflix series, and is Genghis Connie secretly immortal?

SPOILER WARNING: This episode contains MANY spoilers for episode 1-7 of Luke Cage.

TWO PARTER: This is part one of a two part breakdown, this part covers episodes 1-7. Next week we'll cover episodes 8-13 and the show as a whole.

Take a walk with me, just walk with me, take a walk with, come on, now make your neck work! This week the M.I.B. theme song is canon because Andrew and Diana are talking Men In Black with special guest Joel Buxton (writer, stand-up, sketch). Does this movie hold up, how amazing is Vincent D'Onofrio, practical vs CGI effects, and a title song we'll never forget.

Diana and Andrew have guest Nug Nahrgang (from the Illusionoid podcast) sitting in as our first ever return guest! This week as part of Joker month we're talking about the return of Mark Hamill to the role in Batman: The Killing Joke. Did a comic book from 1988 need to be made with no updating, should Hollywood even be trying to make Alan Moore comics into movies, and why is this two terrible movies shoved together?
