Talk Golf Scotland

For the first time we have all 4 of us together in the same studio!!  This week we talk about the latest golf clubs who have sadly closed their doors for the last time.  We also talk about the European Tour's new '4 point plan' to help combat slow play.  We also look towards the Fed Ex Cup and the new format in play this week to find the $15,000,000 winner.

We also round up other Scottish golfing news.

With Stewart Whiteford, Donald McKay, Scott Rose & Peter Whiteford

Bryson Dechambeau was again in the headlines this week for all the wrong reasons.  We have discussed slow play to the death on this show but this week there is only really one story.

We also discuss the Scottish Ladies Open, the Scottish Boys & Girls under 14s and the Leven Gold Medal.

This week we are rejoined by 'grandfather of the pod' - Donald McKay to talk about how newbies should get into golf and what the obstacles in their way are.

We also go over the Womens British Open and discuss how the Fedex cup will unfold.

All opinions are our own!!

This week we review the WGC St Jude where Brooks Koepka wins again, the golfing schedule for 2020, the latest women's major championship and also discuss why golf is in such decline and what we might do to fix it...

We look back at what was arguably the best Open EVER!!!  So many stories - Rory missing the cut, Bob MacIntyre finishing 6th, players not shouting fore, slow play (again), JB giving up and of course, SHANE LOWRY etc etc.

We also round up the Scottish Boys & Girls Championships at The Blairgowrie Golf Club as well as Scottish wins on the Challenge Tour and Euro Pro Tour.

What a week!!
