David Parker Ray (November 6, 1939 – May 28, 2002), also known as the Toy-Box Killer,[1] was an American kidnapper, torturer, rapist and suspected serial killer. Though no bodies were found, he was accused by his accomplices of killing several women and suspected by the police to have murdered as many as 60 women from Arizona and New Mexico while living in Elephant Butte, approximately seven miles north of Truth or Consequences.

James Seevakumaran was a 30-year-old, evicted University of Central Florida (UCF) student who planned a campus massacre in the early hours of March 18, 2013. Although no motive is known for the attack, police found a racially charged manifesto in his room along with several explosives. The shooter's plan was never carried out because of his roommate calling 911 and stopping the attack.

On January 7th, 1991, Herbert Weinstein, a 65-year-old advertising executive, strangled his wife and tossed her body out of their New York high-rise apartment. Weinstein had admitted to murdering his wife, Barbara Weinstein. He claimed that while strangling her he "knew what [he] was doing was wrong, but could not stop doing it."
