What can we say about this episode other than we have seen this before with a more significant impact than what we got. We appreciate the actors giving it their all, but this final season of Fear is really a mess, and it's not much fun to watch. We love our listeners and are so happy you are all staying with us, but we have more exciting things ahead with the walking dead, so while Fear is not giving us what we want, I hope we will get that with Dead City. In any case, this episode at least put a stomp on this radiation being a cure for walker bites and let reality set in for our characters. With just one more episode till the mid-season break, we all will have to see what these showrunners threw at the wall and thought what stuck. Oh, and Daniel is the best with his Nope to the Nope Nope Nope when Morgan asks for help. That was just fun to see.

What a great episode featuring Morgan and revisiting a classic location from Season 1 of TWD. While Dwight and Sherry joined in with some PADRE people overall we got a good story with Morgan. It didn't really fit in the main storyline since we never really got any reason why Morgan has been thinking about his family after all this time and also the wonky distance from where King County is to where PADRE is. They just magically just speed travel to anywhere in the country it seems. In any case some good stuff in a otherwise ridiculous season of Fear.

Mo's hunt to prove PADRE's true intentions has her in over her head as she's drawn into the larger web of secrets.

So, we finally got some backstory on P.A.D.R.E., which was nice to have after all this time, but the current state just left us with many more questions and didn't make much sense. But this is what we've come to expect from these showrunners. Throwing stuff to the wall and taking what probably stuck for like 2 seconds and then just running with it. So we find out the children of the early beginnings of P.A.D.R.E. experienced the typical ZA trama, dad getting eaten by walkers because one of them with their stupid antics caused it, and here we are. Shrike, otherwise formally known as Sam, and her brother Ben took over P.A.D.R.E. instead of helping others, and they started stealing kids from their parents for who only knows why, so that is the story. We can only guess how this ends up, but we really can. P.A.D.R.E. will fall, and hopefully, the misguided duo will die, and everyone will scatter into the wind on another adventure. We do get Madison getting the ultimate guilt trip with the realization of showing everyone else that P.A.D.R.E. is a lie. She killed DOVE's mom, so this, in turn, leads to the plot decision that only Morgan is the answer. Yeah, okay, we get it. This is, in the end, the Morgan show. We do get the one only awesome part of this episode. The return of Daniel, who, with his group of angry parents, starts their plan to take on P.A.D.R.E with the help of Madison and the gang, so we will see how that goes. We only have three episodes left until the mid-season finale, so you have my guess as to what to expect.

After fleeing PADRE, June's safety and solitude is threatened by an unwelcome reunion and a desperate father's search for his missing daughter.

Man, June has some issues with fingers in this episode. Talk about being a collector. So we get a reunion that ends up with some surprises. A new character that, as we know, Fear likes to introduce us to someone only to take them away. Padre either doesn't have the manpower to conduct a search for someone that for years has been a thorn in their side and some more secrets to wag a finger at. This episode was better with some very emotional tension between June and the return of Dwight and Sherry and the surprise that Sherry did have her baby, and they have been keeping their son a secret from him and Padre. Things get dicey, and some shocking moments happen in this episode. So hopefully, this continues because we really want this season to be decent.

After going undercover at PADRE, Morgan and Madison find themselves back at odds trying to do what's best for Mo while struggling to accept their new lives under the watchful eye of PADRE.

What is really happening. can you tell me? Haha, well, I guess PADRE is happening with a teen Mo at the helm. So we got the anticipated time jump of seven years which puts the timeline with the main show, so I guess that is good. I doubt we will get any kind of crossover, but who knows if giving the time jump had anything to do with anything.

So we get the introduction to what the hell is happening with Mo, who is all grown up living under the umbrellas of the baby snatchers. She is being trained for something, and Maddison is locked up for some reason. In a super easy escape with Mo, Madison and Morgan are reunited, but things don't seem to be friendly. And we hear that some of our characters are still alive and working for Padre, but Strand is MIA. So there is that. This episode was okay, but still, what the hell is happening, and at this point, is there any reason to care? I guess we will see as the season continues. The stormtroopers keep the streak of incompetence for a force that was believed to be feared... lol. And walkers that have more undead skills than we've ever been shown before since back to Season 1. And yes, the shocking cruse of the Grimes shows its ugly head again with a shot heard around the Walking Dead Universe. These poor Grimes children sure have some terrible luck. But Kyle is not too worried because he thinks there is some plot armor surrounding Judith Grimes, so he feels we will not see the end of her story.

Ratings for S11E23 Family got a nice bump up. Family got a 0.31 in the 18-49 demographic, with 1.468 million viewers, up from S11E22 Faith, which got a 0.28 in the 18-49 demographic and 1.386 million viewers. Talking Dead was up and got a 0.07 in the 18-49 with 375,000 viewers. I can see for the finale of the series that we will get very high ratings next week. Hopefully, we will get some news on the future as well.

For episode 149 of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, LT, and Brian talk through The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 21, titled Outpost 22. Written by Jim Barnes and directed by Tawnia McKiernan. Separated from their children, our survivors track a military convoy to a mysterious destination.

This was another great episode that set us up for what we assume will be the final boss battle with Pamela. We know the kids have been taken and our crew is out looking for them. After Rosita, Gabriel, and Maggie make their escape from the stormtroopers, they meet up with Carol and Daryl, and they come across The Commonwealth's working Train! What a prize to take away from Pamela. And it was easy pickings because The Commonwealth's soldiers were pretty incompetent. They really are, and it's making watching them kind of boring. They are not a force to be reckoned with. Anyway, so we find out that after Negan, Ezekiel, and Kelly work the chain gang, they get hauled off to this secret Outpost 22. Which is none other than Alexandria. I mean, what a perfect place for our people to be sent to. We can only imagine how that is going to turn out.

Brian here! And we are back after another unexpected hiatus. This time out, LT and I talk through the first season finale of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, S1E10 titled A Quality of Mercy. This episode was written by Henry Alonso Myers & Akiva Goldsman and directed by Chris Fisher. Overall, we loved this episode, possibly the best of the season or certainly one of the best, and marks the end of the first season of this incredible show!

We have really sucked this year, and I'll put that on my shoulders. Unfortunately, with a new job and a lot of other things going on otherwise and the same goes for Kyle, and so has everyone else on the team. As a result, we have been unable to get episodes out in any regular or even irregular fashion, but I am hoping that the worst of that is over now and we can finally get back to releasing episodes and eventually catch up. We've got several episodes recorded on the back burner.

Now that all the Strange New Worlds episodes have been released, LT and I (and hopefully Kyle) will be releasing episodes covering Lower Decks in the coming weeks. We are sorry for the delay. Our hectic schedules have been an issue this year, especially mine, but I hope this will be the first of many episodes released over the next several weeks. We're hoping to catch up by the time Picard Season 3 comes out on February 16th with the remaining Season 2 Picard episodes coming out in the weeks prior to that date.
