On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by friend and recurring guest Aaron Quinn from Cover 1 for the second in a five-week series on Wednesdays consisting of full seven-round Buffalo Bills mock drafts. As always, The Draft Network simulates picks for the other 31 teams in the league, leaving Aaron and Patrick to select for the Bills in real-time without knowing who'll be available beforehand.
Last week the board played out oddly, leaving big need vs talent questions for the guys in the first two rounds. Ultimately the guys chose value with defensive tackle Jordan Davis and and running back Kenneth Walker III in rounds one and two respectively. Will the board play out much differently this time?
Before getting to their second mock the guys spend a little time examining if Ryan Bates' return to Buffalo eliminates the need to draft a guard early, why we shouldn't forget about Brandon Beane's attempt to sign running back J.D. McKissic and cornerback remaining the team's lone glaring hole on the roster going into the draft.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by Chad DeDominicis to talk Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills and also the Miami Dolphins attempting to make some noise in the AFC.
On Wednesday afternoon the latest NFL bombshell came out of nowhere as the Kansas City Chiefs traded star wide receiver Tyrek Hill to Miami for a slew of draft picks. The Dolphins are suddenly loaded on offense and the guys have plenty of thoughts on the trade, if Miami is now a legitimate threat to the Bills and fans going a little overboard in their assessment of Tua Tagovailoa. They also talk about what these crazy wide receiver contracts going around may soon mean for Stefon Diggs as well as some other Bills topics.
Of course they also talk Sabres and boy oh boy is Patrick excited about what he's seeing from this team after defeating Pittsburgh in a shootout Thursday night. They discuss the team surging on the ice, not making any trade deadline moves, Vinnie Hinostoza’s future with the organization, if JJ Peterka may have to wait longer than some hope to join the Sabres and much more.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by friend and recurring guest Aaron Quinn from Cover 1 to kick off a five-week series consisting of full seven-round Buffalo Bills mock drafts.
The guys did this last year and it proved to be both fun and informative. Each Wednesday for the next five weeks leading up to the draft they’ll come up with a new mock draft, discussing several potential prospects and scenarios along the way. Some mocks will allow for trades and others won’t.
Before jumping into their mock today the guys talk about how the first week of free agency definitely plays as big factor into a Bills mock draft now versus if they’d done one a week ago. Once the picks start flowing the guys are shocked with two treats at selections 25 and overall that were never expected before finding a steal at a position of need in the third round. There's plenty of depth, and explanation to round out the seven rounds.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by popular Cover 1 content creator Greg Tompsett to discuss all things going on with the Buffalo Bills now that free agency has officially begun, with Buffalo have a pretty impactful first day..
As of this posting the Bills have signed offensive guard Roger Saffold to (essentially) a one-year deal from the Tennessee Titans. Greg has thoughts on the 33-year old pro bowler joining the Bills and perhaps why Buffalo decided on him over Darryl Wililams. They also examine Harrison Phillips leaving the Bills for Minnesota with a pair of new defensive tackles signing with Buffalo, Tim Settle (Washington) and DaQuan Jones (Carolina).
The guys also discuss re-signing Isiah McKenzie and extending Mitch Morse as well as cutting ties with Williams, Jon Feliciano and A.J. Klein.
The guys also take a look around the craziness going around the league, from mega trades to huge early free agent moves by Jacksonville and the Los Angeles Chargers. That and much more!

Chad DeDomincis subs in for Joe Yerdon on this Friday episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, joining Patrick Moran to talk about former Buffalo Sabres captain Jack Eichel’s return to Key Bank arena as a member of the opposition on Thursday night.
One of the most talented and polarizing Sabres players in franchise history, this was a game many fans and surely Jack himself had circled on the calendar.
If you’re a Sabres fan the game played out as good as one could ever hope----Eichel was held scoreless while both Peyton Krebs and Alex Tuch, two pieces Eichel was traded for both put pucks in the net in a 3-1 Sabres win that felt as electric inside the arena as it has in years. After the game Eichel was extremely petty in his comments. Chad has thoughts on that and plenty more stemming from this game and an organization that perhaps uses this big victory as a springboard going forward.
The guys also discuss the Buffalo Bills as free agency draws near and much more.

On this random bonus Wednesday episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is flying solo and he has a bunch of thoughts as he breaks down Joe Buscaglia’s recent detailed-filled Buffalo Bills mock offseason feature article for The Athletic.
The article (you can read it by clicking here) has become an annual tradition for Buscaglia, with him going through every component of the Bills offseason and projecting what may happen. The exercise ranges from cutting players to contract restructures, free agent tenders, re-signing their own free agents versus letting others walk and adding veterans via free agency before concluding with a seven-round Bills mock draft. Patrick goes through the entire process Joe put out and offers plenty of thoughts on his own.
Plus, why he thinks the Bills need to get aggressive right now, why Calvin Ridley’s gambling suspension should not and cannot be compared to other suspensions handed out from player incidents such as domestic violence and more.

On this bonus Monday episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by friend, recurring guest and curmudgeon Joe (@BuffaloWins) for a discussion focused on Tyler Dunne’s recent 13 seconds deep dive that featured quotes and information based on several team sources.
It’s been ample time since the Bills gave away an opportunity to host an AFC championship game over those dreaded final 13 seconds in Kansas City, but for many people including the players, the wound is still fresh. The guys talk about several things revealed in the article, including what appears to be a little unhappiness from some players over the lack of accountability Sean McDermott has shown over the loss. The guys discuss from all angles, including fans who still want more answers as to what happens to critics who simply want to move on, and haters who think Dunne has a personal vendetta against McDermott.
Joe also has strong takes on the local media covering the NFL Draft Combine in Indianapolis, the guys discuss a pair former Buffalo Sabres returning to town for the first time since being traded this week and much more.v
