On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran talks about a devastating week for the Buffalo Bills and the NFL on the heels of Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest while playing on Monday Night Football.
Patrick tries his best to give his personal thoughts on the incident and aftermath, using examples from his past to make the sudden fear and horror from Hamlin's teammates a tiny bit relatable. He also shows gratitude to Cincinnati fans, ESPN (especially Ryan Clark) and fans from around the world that've poured in more than seven million dollars for Hamlin's toy community drive.
It's a tough episode to get through for both Patrick and maybe you for listening as well. There's definitely warts in this episode for sure but hopefully the juice is worth the squeeze.

On this final 2022 episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by Aaron Quinn (Cover 1) for their weekly “Causal Friday” chat, this week focused on a huge game coming Monday night between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals as well as a retrospective on the Blizzard that rocked the Western New York region.
There’s plenty at stake when the Bills face the Bengals Monday, none more so than the high probability of Buffalo securing the AFC top seed with a victory. The guys talk about the game, what the Bengals bring to the table, if Cincinnati is on the same tier as Buffalo and Kansas City and the possibility of Sean McDermott resting starters the final week if the Bills lose this game.
They also spend plenty of time recounting their own personal stories from last weekend’s historic blizzard, what went most wrong and what should be done in the future. All that and much more.

On this mid-week episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is in some kind of mood as he sounds off over Christmas frustration, changes leadership needs to make in handling Buffalo severe weather, looters, storm rescue heroes and much more.
Western New York and particularly Buffalo are still reeling from the Blizzard of 2022, now considered by many as the most destructive blizzard to ever hit the city, even surpassing the infamous 1977 blizzard. Patrick has a lot of thoughts on that, how the county can do a better of job of preparing for such a severe storm in the future and plenty of disdain at elected officials for too much civilian finger pointing in the wake of everything.
He also tries to elaborate on some post-Christmas thoughts from a podcast earlier this weeks, goes off on looters, defends the news (somewhat)and plenty more in an emotionally charged episode, the second-last of 2022.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran has plenty of thoughts on the Buffalo Bills defeating the Chicago Bears last Saturday both good and bad as well as recapping a pretty crappy Christmas.
The Bills beat the Bears on Christmas Eve, 35-13 for their 12th victory of the season. Patrick talks about what he liked from the defense, offensive line and running game while having issue with Josh Allen, Gabe Davis, special teams play and too many stupid penalties.
He also talks about the Buffalo Blizzard putting a damper on his Christmas while acknowledging that many people had it far worse, some even tragically so.

It’s a Christmas edition of Talking Buffalo Podcast and on this episode Patrick Moran is joined by regular Casual Friday guest Aaron Quinn (Cover 1) to talk Buffalo Bills and plenty about Christmas.
The Bills are slated to face off in Chicago against the Bears on Christmas Eve afternoon Saturday with the weather expected to play a major factor. Patrick looks to one-win Houston nearly knocking off Dallas and Kansas City over the past two weeks as one of the reasons the Bills shouldn’t overlook the Bears with a huge Monday Night game looming the following week in Cincinnati. Aaron provides plenty of insight on the team and game Saturday and the guys have thoughts on four Buffalo players being named to the Pro Bowl this past Wednesday. Also, is Josh Allen officially back in the NFL MVP mix?
Also the guys discuss Christmas, a holiday in Western New York that could be derailed by horrible weather. Patrick talks about Christmas time being personally sad many yearz for him, is asked by Aaron to tell his marriage proposal story and near the end of the show they do this week’s “Medal Stands”, this time handing out medals for both Best Christmas Songs and Best Christmas Movies. That and much more!

On today’s Talking Buffalo Podcast Patrick Moran is joined by frenemy and recurring guest Joe from Queens and they pretty much disagree and argue on a variety of topics, including Josh Allen, Cole Beasley, the Buffalo sports media and several factors revolving around the Buffalo Bills.
With Joe Yerdon out in Vegas to cover the Buffalo Sabres game Monday night, Joe from Queens tags in and debating/bickering ensues. The guys elaborate on some takes made about Jerry Sullivan while going at it over whether Beasley’s return to the Bills has a redemption arc to it.
They also argue about whether the Buffalo sports media panders too much to fans and go over several story arcs from Buffalo’s thrilling victory over Miami last Saturday night, both good and bad.
It’s an argument-filled and borderline hostile episode today---just the way we like it, folks.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast its Casual Friday, which means Patrick Moran is joined by Aaron Quinn (Cover 1) to talk about a variety of topics, including Cole Beasley returning to the Buffalo Bills, social media getting uglier by the day and this week’s Medal Stand featuring best N’Sync songs and overrated former Bills.
To the surprise of many, Beasley was signed to the Bills practice squad this week and it won’t be long before he’s on the field playing for them. The guys talk about why Beasley is back and what his role should as well as how it will effect Isaiah McKenzie, Khalil Shakir and other players on the team directly.
They also spend a good chunk of time talking about how things have been pretty ugly on social media lately, more so than usual in light of Jerry Sullivan’s recent appearance on Trainwreck Sports, Beasley returning to Buffalo and other topics.
The guys also do their weekly Medal Stand, awarding gold, silver and bronze medals in the categories of best N’SYNC songs and overrated former Bills players. That and much more.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by recurring guest Joe from NYC for a conversation focused on longtime journalist Jerry Sullivan being fired following a misogynist comment on another podcast as well as how colleagues in the Buffalo media are reacting.
Sullivan, already in hot water following the Buffalo Bills post-game press conference on Sunday with fans and some national media, appeared on Trainwreck Sports the next night to explain his side of the presser story. What it turned into was Sullivan making an extremely disparaging statement towards woman after a female tweeted a question/statement at him live on the show. It led to a viral clip of the statement that drew the ire of fans and media all over and ultimately led to him being fired from the Niagara Gazette and WIVB-TV. The guys discuss how they feel about Sullivan, the outlet he appeared on that drew plenty of criticism themselves, how the media has handled it and much more. It’s a thorough and candid discussion that needs to be had.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran goes solo and has several thoughts on the Buffalo Bills, journalist Jerry Sullivan being in hot water and the Buffalo Sabres.
The Bills had a hard fought victory over the New York Jets on Sunday in wintery Orchard Park to improve to 10-3 on the season. Patrick goes over some of the good and bad he’s seeing from the Bills, including a defensive line that for now looks up to the task of replacing Von Miller and linebackers that are easy to take for granted to the other side---a first-rounder that can’t get on the field and adverse weather seeming to effect Buffalo more than their opponents.
Patrick also has a bunch of thoughts on Sullivan, who made national media headlines for a bait-enticing statement as opposed to a question at the Bills post-game press conference on Sunday. That plus a few quick Sabres takes, Patrick’s inability to stay healthy in 2022 and more.

It’s Casual Friday on Talking Buffalo Podcast, which means Patrick Moran is joined by friend and recurring guest Aaron Quinn (Cover 1) for a loose discussion on a variety of topics, including the Buffalo Bills having to move on from Von Miller, feeling more Christmasy, an interesting Buffalo Sabres comparison and the greatest Michael Jackson songs.
Von Miller ended up with a tear in his ACL that required surgery and he’s now out of the rest of the season, a sharp turn of events from him going on I.R. with the expectation he’d miss four games. The guys react to the news, the onslaught of continuous Bills injuries, where this team stacks up with the league’s best and Aaron’s level of concern going into their New York Jets rematch this Sunday.
The guys also spend a few minutes talking about the Sabres, which turns into an interesting fact-finding mission with former Houston Oilers wide receiver Drew Hill. That plus what Christmas movies the guys are watching, where Sean Payton may coach next, cities of the world they’d most like to visit and plenty more.
