On this episode of Talking Buffalo, it’s Casual Friday which means Patrick Moran is joined by Aaron Quinn (Cover 1) for their weekly chat. Today’s focused on the Buffalo Bills and if they have more questions than answers following a lopsided playoff last week and plenty of uncertainty for what’s to come in the offseason.
The guys discuss some of the key points from the Bills disappointing loss and some of their biggest takeaways, not just from the game but from comments made by general manager Brandon Beane earlier this week. It appears unlikely to see any significant coaching staff changes coming and with the Bills somewhat strapped with salary cap space, will the next few months bring the status quo.
They also discuss fan and player behavior from Cincinnati, favorite subjects in high school, alternative birth names, actors born for their role and much more.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined for his weekly chat with writer and podcaster Joe Yerdon for a conversation focused on biggest takeaways from a Buffalo Bills season ending loss as well as excitement around the Buffalo Sabres.
The Bills went 13-3 during the regular season but that doesn’t mean much to the organization or fans right now after being manhandled out of the playoffs by Cincinnati. The guys discuss some of the biggest things to takeaway from the game and Buffalo’s season, ranging from questioning if Sean McDermott will ever get Buffalo over the hump, to an offense in need of more resources allocated their way and trying to figure out why a team that plays in the northeast is so strongly built around speed and finesse.
As for the Sabres, they survived a recent slide and remain within striking distance in the Eastern conference wild card race as near the end of January---big progress for a team like Buffalo. Joe has thoughts on their recent play, Rasmus Dahlin and a review of last week’s Ryan Miller Night at the arena. All that and much more.

On the episode of Talking Buffalo, the Buffalo Bills see their season end a few weeks prematurely in the eyes of most, and Patrick Moran is joined by Joe from Queens to talk about it.
Despite having home field and facing a Cincinnati Bengals offensive line ravaged by injuries, the Bills were absolutely manhandled by the Bengals to get bounced from the divisional round of the playoffs for a second straight year. The guys attempt to piece together what went wrong and there’s plenty of blame to go around for both the players, coaching staff and management.
They also spend a few minutes getting into what’s likely to be an offseason of significant change with personnel and potentially coaches.

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran talks about the Buffalo Bills surviving and advancing, barely in the AFC wildcard playoff round with a 34-31 over the Miami Dolphins---a game that was far closer and more stressful than it needed to be.
After going up early 17-0 and looking like their starters may get an extended rest in the second half, mental breakdowns plagued the Bills and allowed Miami back into the game, even taking the lead in the second half.
Pat goes over several good points from a Buffalo perspective, including their first-round rookie finally having a huge impact, playoff Gabe Davis reemerging and their stud linebackers playing like studs. Conversely Patrick talks about mental mistakes, turnovers and silent days from key players that nearly had us discussing what could’ve been the most embarrassing loss in Bills franchise history.
We also spend a few minutes talking about next week’s divisional round. Hey, a win is a win especially in the playoffs and the Bills live to fight another day. Plenty to talk about in this episode!
