In this episode, Coach Tamber McAllister discusses her plans as the new head coach of BYU swim and dive after a long tenure as an assistant coach for the program. She reflects on her coaching career, her close relationship with former head coach Shari Skabelund, and her transition into the head coaching role. Tamber reminisces about her own Olympic Trials experience in 2000 and the joy of seeing her athletes reach the same milestone! She shares her personal history with swimming, influenced by her mother who was also her coach, and how that relationship pushed her to be a better athlete at the time, and now a coach.
