Alison Russell has had more than her fair share of heartache and hardship in her life but she still gets up each day and fights the good fight. I have had the privilege of watching her get her mojo back, so to speak, over the last few years since momentum has been gaining in her daughters case. For those that don’t know, Alisons daughter Kirra, was killed in 2014, at 27yrs old. At the time, Kirra was in a DV relationship with a guy named Paul. Her death was labelled as a suspicious death, but Alison always knew in her gut that someone killed her.
Recently, the state coroner found that the injuries inflicted on Kirra by her partner Paul, was the cause of her death.
Along with this tragedy, Alison suffers from Bipolar and borderline personality disorder and has since her teenage years. Hear how Alison manages this and what treatment works for her.
