The edge capabilities of Zenoh allows them to take advantage of IoT, edge computing and mobility
@Don Witt, The Channel Daily News
The result of their distributed architecture was recently enhanced with their first 5G implementation. The edge capabilities of Zenoh allows them to take advantage of IoT, edge computing and mobility.
Angelo Corsaro, CEO/CTO of ZettaScale explains to Don Witt of the Channel Daily News, a TR publication, ZettaScale is now enabling drones to have robot formation or to swarm using peer to peer communications over a mesh network. The low latency and local data storage make a huge difference especially in robotics. ZettaScale has a growing automotive following as well.
In addition to the edge distribution characteristics, ZettaScale uses Rust programming language providing faster memory access and enhanced memory security.
Listen in and learn how ZettaScale uses the Zenoh operating system to enable architects and entrepreneurs alike to take advantage of the 5G edge for IoT, Mobility and edge computing.
ZettaScale’s mission is to bring to every connected human and machine the unconstrained freedom to communicate, compute and store — anywhere, at any scale, efficiently and securely. The company develops open-source communication middleware that underpins next-generation robotics, transportation, and mission critical applications. As devices in the physical world become connected, instrumented, and interdependent, ZettaScale enables device creators to easily achieve robust, secure, and scalable communication.
ZettaScale was spun out from ADLINK Technology Inc. in 2022, with a strategic investment from TTTech Auto. ZettaScale has offices in the U.K., France and The Netherlands.
