The initial ballot for the 2023 College Football Hall of Fame class has been announced and three Arizona State Sun Devils football legends have made the list - defensive end Terrell Suggs, placekicker Luis Zendejas, and head coach Daryl Rogers. Of the three, Suggs stands out as one of the greatest defensive players college football has ever seen, standing on 44 career sacks (second-most in a career) with his single-season 24 sacks standing as the single-season record to this day. Zendejas was the definition of consistent back in the 80s and actually kicked for Rogers in four of his five seasons in Tempe, including a 1982 Rose Bowl win over Oklahoma.
