Andrew Brophy joins me from his home on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia, for a casual chat about his life so far.  Indigo Willing is a Vietnamese war orphan, sociologist, skateboarder, and co-author of the book; Skateboarding, Power and Change. This week, Dr. Indigo joins me for an in-person conversation about her intriguing life so far. We discuss her early years growing up in the northern suburbs of Sydney with her adoptive family, experiences of racism, why she was drawn to academia, the reality of “survivor guilt", her passion for community development, being awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) and then resigning from the award, why skateboarding organically becomes an inclusive space, the future of skatepark design, skate-able cities, the fellowship she is embarking on with Sydney University, and much much more.

I speak with UFC fighter Jamie Mullarkey for a third time this year. I feel honoured to be able to document Jamie's character, personality and mind-set during his UFC fight journey. A truely special phase of his life. 
Jamie re-caps his stellar performance at Perth UFC284, the lessons he learnt at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, and his current training camp for Sydney UFC293. As an elite athlete in one of the most physically and mentally challenging sports on earth, Jamie and I discuss the scope of pressure that he faces, the tenacity required to maintain a (very sort-after) contract with the UFC, adapting to last-minute opponent changes, what it's like behind the scenes on fight nights, recovery modalities, mental health management, why there is no such thing as an "easy fight" at this level, and much much more. There was a focussed determination in Jamie's eyes that felt different compared to other times I’ve hung out with him... Just saying.
Talented photographer, Izrayl Brinsdon joined me at this recording, and he shot some rad portraits of Jamie on 35mm camera film for this episode, so keep an eye out for his work.

Ben Currie is a professional skateboarder, kind human, and dog lover. Ti Coleing is a lifelong skateboarder, born and raised in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, Australia.
In this week's episode, Ti shares about his childhood, his parent's separation when he was 7 years old, skateboarding around Bondi in the 80s, working with Waverly council to have the Bondi vert ramp built, teaching troubled youth how to skate back in the 90s, his first job at Surfection in Bondi Junction, working with Guy Miller at Juice Clothing to produce their videos, his input into the design of the Juice "mesh" shorts, working for the Jamie Thomas enterprise; Blackbox distribution, transitioning to Hardcore distribution, X-Games, skate judging, his coaching business; Skate:Flow, and much much more.
In the 25 (plus) years that I've known Ti, his humble and approachable nature has always stood out. Respectable aspects of his solid character that have never changed, and probably never will.
Now in his late 40s, Ti's passion and drive to progress at skating (and life in general) are more present than ever. 
Vert skater, street skater, industry guy, DJ enthusiast, and lover of house music. Get to know a staple of the Australian skate scene, Ti Coleing...Mr Nice guy.

Iconic Skateboarder, artist, musician and cultural influencer, Mr Steve Caballero joins me from his home in California for a long conversation about his life so far. As one of the longest serving professional skateboarders of all time, Steve and I obviously touch upon his love for skateboarding and his long-term affiliation with his main sponsors, Powell-Peralta and Vans shoes. However, Steve gets vulnerable and opens up about more delicate aspects of his life, such as the challenges of parenting, views on marriage, relationships, finding his faith, self-managing his entire career, insecurities about his physical stature, the importance of self-belief, growing up, his relationship with his own parents, the size of his royalty cheques back in the 80s, why he has no plans of slowing down doing the things he loves, and much much more.
A culturally significant icon, who endures and sustains love from his global array of fans. And for good reason...he's a rad human.

Peanut is a lifelong skateboarder based in Sydney Australia.
