Dre Skrila shares his story of growing up in Glendene, west Auckland. As a teenager he went from commiting ram-raids and robberies, to slanging drugs, to collecting cash for gangs, which he eventually went to prison for.  He is now a social media influencer, has his own podcast, YouTube channel and clothing line. He's been able to get out of prison and turn negatives into positives!

Roseanne Rofaeel works as a prison chaplain in some of Australia's toughest prisons.   She shares her story of becoming a chaplain , the rewards, and also some of the difficulties she faces.  She is also the founder of Christmas on the streets (COTS) , a charity that looks after men and women experiencing homelessness across Australia and in NZ.

Todays yarn is with Paul O'Sullivan, a correctional officer I met whilst incarcerated at Port Phillip prison in Melbourne.   We discuss the harsh realities of prison life and he shares some of his prison stories, including having his throat sliced by an inmate, and witnessing a brutal murder.

Todays yarn is with Mongrol Mob notorious vice president Puk dog.   He shares his story of growing up in the mean streets of Hastings, amongst crime, gangs, violence and drugs. He also gives insight into the history of the Mongrel mob and the "notorious" chapter, formed inside maximum security prison.  He is now an online coach and is helping his community try and break free of the cycle of prison and gangs.

Today's yarn is with Mahmood Fazal, former Melbourne sergeant at arms for the Mongols MC.   Growing up in Dandenong, over the years he become involved in dealing methamphetamine. After becoming a nominee for the Finks MC, they patched over to the Mongols , a notorious club originating from California.  We talk club politics and the Nike bike scene in Melbourne .   Mahmood is now a journalist for the ABC and vice news, where he has travelled the world and interviewed the likes of ONEFOUR and even the yakuza in Japan.

Sana shares her incredible testimony of redemption.  Growing up in south western Sydney. Going through sexual abuse, drug addiction, prison, and then being deported back to NZ she’s been through hell and back.  She now has given her life to God and studies theology in hopes of becoming a prison chaplain.

Todays ep is with my cuz from sydney, Jurnan Amy Ayerest AKA Thorn,  MC and graffiti artist.  She grew up in Sydneys inner city and became involved in Graffiti and hip hop culture in her youth. She discusses her upbringing and being apart of a graffiti crew. Which led to her living on the streets and being in and out of juvie. Also experiencing domestic violence and being housed in adult mens detention at only 15.  She now owns a production company, last minute productions, and has travelled the world as an MC, and a graffiti artist.
