Also it's official that Showtime Network will get the live viewing rights, while HBO will get the tape delay on primetime. Everything is set and ready for the biggest fight at heavyweight and possibly in boxing of the year.

A junior welterweight unification bout is set for Glasgow, Scotland. WBA champion Ricky Burns vs. Julius Indongo, the IBF champion after the massive upset over Eduard Troyanovsky last year, should determine who is the biggest player at 140lbs. other than Terence Crawford.

Sullivan Barrera vs. Paul Parker is on HBO Latino; what is Barrera doing?

Dmitry Bivol vs. Samuel Clarkson is on Showtime; when will Bivol make a step up in competition?

Jezreel Corrales has signed with Golden Boy Promotions; are showdowns with Miguel Berchelt or Yuriorkis Gamboa next?

Spike TV has not renewed its deal with PBC. Is it a sign of things to come or an isolated incident of networks leaving the PBC brand?

Thaboxingvoice brings you another morning podcast catered to the U.K. fans as the panel discusses Tony Bellew’s trainer’s recent comments regarding his fighter’s potential plans. In a recent interview, Dave Coldwell, Bellew’s head trainer, stated that his fighter would be willing to stick around at heavyweight for a showdown with undefeated WBO titlist Joseph Parker.

Parker is scheduled to face off with Hughie Fury on May 6th in Auckland, New Zealand, but if he is successful then Bellew, who is a former world titlist at Cruiserweight, believes he could match up well with him, this according to trainer Coldwell.

It does not seem like Bellew is interested in staying at heavyweight, but only if the fight makes sense because Coldwell was on record saying that a fight with the likes of Anthony Josuah was not “in the equation.” However, Coldwell described Parker as “not an absolute killer.”

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. continues to become every bit of a "prize fight" with now both camps throwing out PED accusations and statements.

Chavez's camp criticized the VADA testing for this bout as being strictly urine-based testing without any blood testing. Canelo came back with a response to these criticisms, "His declarations are very stupid...What he’s saying is very stupid. Simply put, very stupid, because we’re talking about VADA – the top agency, very professional. Whether they do blood, whether they do urine, they know what they’re doing.”

He continued, "I haven’t tested positive ever in my career...And he’s tested [positive] two or three times. So he should shut up and worry about himself, and stop saying those stupid things.”

The saga that is Gennady Golovkin, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, and Billy Joe Saunders continues to become more of a primetime television drama than a sport filled with machismo.

Frank Warren, Saunders promoter, alludes to a Golovkin injury that most likely will scrap the June fight. “Well they’re saying at the moment, they’re saying that Golovkin’s injured.”

Abel Sanchez, Golovkin’s trainer, said, “He was sore.” What will Golovkin do now and is it the smart move?

The biggest fight of the year so far, Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko, has one final loop to jump through before being all set in stone.

According to Dan Rafael, the United States TV rights are the last thing to be determined. Both HBO and Showtime, who represent Klitschko and Joshua respectively, obviously do not want to give up their rights to this mega-fight.

TBV will breakdown all the rumors and speculation about which lucky network will get it live and get to announce it, and also per Rafael the US TV rights is worth $3 million.

The brilliant Vasyl Lomachenko did his thing Saturday night, which means he dazzled, put on a show and won easily. He easily retained his junior lightweight world title for the second time, as he pummeled Jason Sosa for nine one-sided rounds before a sold-out crowd of 2,828 mostly Ukrainian fans cheering him on in the main event of the first boxing card at the MGM National Harbor, which opened in December.

"I came in to do my job and show everyone the 'High-Tech' style," Lomachenko said through a translator, referring to his nickname. "I think I did my job really well."
