WBO lightweight championship fight, Terry Flanagan vs. Petr Petrov, has received some big news in the United States. The fight will be live streaming on Twitter this Saturday per a Banner Promotions press release. Banner Promotions president, Artie Pelullo had this to say, “ I am very excited about the opportunity to bring the WBO Lightweight World Championship exclusively to Twitter in the United States on April 8th.”

Is this just another sign of the new trend started by the Adrien Broner vs. Adrian Granados fight? Will other promoters follow suit?

TBV is back in your life with more updates of the mega fight between Canelo Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Chavez’s trainer, Nacho Beristain, "It's a good weight. We are working very strong. [Chavez Jr.] is weighing 78 kilos [about 172 pounds], he's eight pounds away. I do not think there should be problems [with making weight] unless he comes across a cow and eats it.”

Chavez Jr. seems to be in supreme shape; does that change your perception of this fight?

TBV is back to breakdown and dissect the Toe-2-Toe Tuesday action between lightweight boxers, Edner Cherry and Omar Douglas.

Omar Douglas is looking to rebound after suffering his first career loss against Javier Fortuna, while Edner Cherry is looking to create a winning streak after his 2015 loss to Jose Pedraza.

Can Douglas recapture the hype that surrounded him? Or will Cherry prove he still has one last run at the top?

Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs), says Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) would make more money by staging a fight with GGG than with anyone else.

He feels Canelo would make even more than he gained back in 2013, in his showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr. - which generated 2.2 million pay-per-view buys.

Thaboxingvoice panel comes right back at ya with another podcast only minutes after concluding its last. For this show, the hosts will discuss the Kell Brook-Errol Spence promotion, specifically the astonishingly quick sellout of Pre-Sale tickets for the May 27th event. Fans are clamoring for every event associated with this promotion and are anticipating the fight itself.

The promotion kicked off in a successful manner with its initial press conference to announce the fight. The dynamic between both Brook and Spence is explosive. Brook-Spence will take place at Bramall Lane, an outdoor football ground in Sheffield, Yorkshire.

Are the successful ticket sells, thus far, indicative of fans’ appreciation for such a high profile fight or is the continued enthusiasm of UK fans that will make this promotion financially lucrative? Would the ticket sales be this successful if the fight were taking place in America? The panel will discuss all this and more.

Nestor “Nes” Gibbs, BoxingMD, and Matthew “The Hipster” will talk about today’s event with the TBV family.
