The pay-per-view buyrate for HBO PPV's Gennady "GGG" Golovkin vs. Daniel Jacobs is in according to LA Times Boxing correspondent, Lance Pugmire. 

 

Per his Twitter account, "Early pay per view report shows @GGGBoxing @DanielJacobsTKO fight had buys ranging from 130k to 150k, according to industry source..." 

 

He also followed up with "The @GGGBoxing camp says final tally of PPV buys will be higher than 150k. Nothing on record from @HBO yet...We know gate revenue at @TheGarden was $3.7 million, higher than $2 million for Lemieux, that @GGGBoxing merchandise, sponsors also higher."

The next major showdown in the welterweight division is finally official. IBF champion Kell Brook is set to fight undefeated contender Errol Spence Jr. in his hometown of Sheffield, United Kingdom.

 

A Matchroom Boxing press release stated there will be a press conference to announce the fight on Wednesday at 2:30 local time.

We are mere hours away from the middleweight showdown of Gennady "GGG" Golovkin vs. Daniel "The Miracle Man" Jacobs, but the breaking news doesn't stop. 

 

Jacobs failed to come to the IBF second day weigh-in according to a press release sent out. As per the IBF rules you have to come in at most 10lbs. higher than the contracted weight. GGG was 169.7 and Jacobs' weight is unknown. 

 

As a result the IBF will not be available to Jacobs if he wins tonight. Will this have any effect on the fight tonight?
