When a woman inherits her family’s beloved restaurant in Albuquerque’s Old Town, she embraces her role as caretaker of both the business and its rich legacy. But after decades of whispers, sightings, and strange activity, they are ready for answers. Who still lingers in the historic building—and why? They’re curious—and concerned about what, if anything, they should be doing for the spirits that still call the place home.

As the team investigates, a dark legacy emerges involving an 1880s lawman with blood on his hands, a furious female spirit from the 1920s, and a violent, lingering energy that's hurting the living.

 In this episode there is quite a bit of talk about infant and child death, as well as botched hanging executions, so trigger warning for those who need it. Also, we swear.

Well, well, well...if it isn’t the consequences of one’s own actions rearing their heads. At least two people in this story are getting their just desserts.

In this episode, we head to Seattle to revisit one of The Dead Files’ early cases—

This time, Amy and AP dive into "Burned Alive", where a bar owner is dealing with vengeful mist creatures, a bathroom ghost, a possibly syphilitic protector spirit, and a religious woman ghost named Mary whose touch can literally kill you. So, that’s fun.

This Dead Files episode (S5 E7) originally aired June 13, 2015.

We talk about the Merchant Cafe and Saloon—one of Seattle’s oldest bars—and the heavy energy tied to its long, sometimes tragic, history. Highlights include:

This week, Amy and Megan dive headfirst into one of the darkest and most disturbing Dead Files episodes yet: Season 10, Episode 1 – “Taken.” Set in Mahwah, New Jersey (which yes, is north of NYC—who knew?!), this case features shadow people, child spirits, and one truly unnerving ghost bear creeping through the house… on tiptoes.

This week we are finishing up our discussion of The Dead Files “Shop of Horrors” (Season 13 Episode 5) which aired August 21, 2021. Episode 144 was the first half, this is the second.
