That's right, it's Wednesday, humpday, and things around here are going that way. They aren't finished yet, but they are so close I can taste them. The thing is, ADHD is getting in my way, and I need to do something about it, which I did by talking to you guys today. Thanks for listening. I always appreciate our time. Today I'm ranting and rambling about the podcast, my environment, my ADHD, and what I need to do and get to keep going like this. Where do I go from here, I keep asking myself. I need your help. I like Monday,s no matter what other say. I get all wound up with things I want to do and accomplish that day and the rest of the week. How do you cope with Mondays? Do you have a certain ritual or routine you follow or think about? Let us know by emailing Mark & Patti.

Friday's always gets me excited. Not that I don't have enough time to myself, but I am always thinking of ways to make the weekend more enjoyable and it takes all day Friday to come up with stuff. This Friday is special because of the weekend. This Sunday is the publication of our pop-up newsletter about food called A Food Above. Click that link and subscribe for the best in summer recipes for a very limited time. Once the summer is over so isn't the newsletter. The next time it'll be back is during the holidays. Yes, this is a promotional thing, but what the heck.

This year unlike many years prior, I am going to prepare myself for the stuff coming up. Stuff like school starting, holidays and family meals, and dealing with issues within the family to make the holidays happy. I know it sounds crazy to talk about this now, but this is the time to refresh your brain. Maybe even do a brain dump, so you're ready for what's coming. I'm just thinking about this now because I decided to be ready this year for what's about to come.  

Habits versus routines. I've been asked what the difference is? Surprisingly there is a difference, and it's in your best interest to figure out your habits and routines. Then figure out their differences and how they affect your day and life. It may take a little bit to figure out the differences, but it'll all make sense when you do.  

ADHD can get a little in the way when we have to fight the heat of the day. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it does happen to me, and I have found that refreshing my mind, body, and emotional feeling with something cold and enjoyable will help get things back on track. Give it a try if you're having one of those ADHD HEATED moments.

When doubt happens, it's how you make your next move that counts the most. You can either stay in doubt and fall back or check it off and move forward. It's not up to anyone but you. Listen in for more on my thoughts on doubt.

For example, there are days, like today, where I want to podcast, but I don't want to podcast. So hang onto your seatsI'm portesting today! I feel I have nothing to offer, so I bother you with mundane ramblings, but then there is the time when I am full of ideas, feeling and want to get them out like today. seats. I'm protesting   

I have to write a post in one shot. I can't start and then stop and walk away, only to come back to it later with more thoughts. I need to sit down, type, and never stop until it's finished. I use Grammarly for spell-checking and grammar issues, but other than that, I don't edit either. I write the way I do a podcast. Listen in for more.
