The Amanda Seales Show

Amanda Seales and the crew dive into the latest happenings in politics and social issues. We kick things off with an update on the South Carolina Supreme Court's controversial ruling, which has declared execution by firing squad and other methods, traditionally deemed cruel and unusual, as legal if requested by the inmate. We'll explore the historical context of this decision and its implications for the future. Additionally, we'll discuss a new voter suppression tactic emerging in Texas and how it may impact the upcoming elections.

The episode also covers the fallout from Donald Trump's recent appearance at the NABJ convention, where he made a controversial comment about Kamala Harris to three Black female journalists. We'll unpack the reactions and ongoing discussions surrounding this incident. In our "Big Up, Let Down" segment, we'll celebrate Simone Biles's clapback after her team's Olympic triumph and the shade thrown by a former teammate. On the flip side, we'll talk about a Photoshop fail by MAGA supporters, who tried to depict Trump with Black women in a misleading photo. Join us as we break down these stories and more in this jam-packed episode.
