In this interview episode, I'm chatting with my friend, Anna Nelson, a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, on what it looks like to build a business based on your unique strengths.

Anna knows first-hand that focusing on your strengths or ‘superpowers’ and delegating the stuff that you might not be so good at is the key to true business growth and success.

But to do that, you need to be able to identify what your superpowers actually are.

As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Anna works with business owners to build profitable, fun businesses. Through 1:1 coaching and team workshops, she helps entrepreneurs discover their superpowers and assemble a team that empowers them to do more of what they naturally do best.

In this interview episode, I have Kate Johnson from the Bookkeeping Sidehustle Facebook Community (which has over 16k members!). We're chatting about how her group started, what her firm looks like, and lots of other random inspiring bits. We hope you enjoy this interview! 

Kate owns Heritage Business Services, LLC, a virtual bookkeeping firm serving small business clients all over the United States. She can also be found helping other accounting professionals build a virtual accounting career they love inside her Bookkeeping Side Hustle Community.

She is a very proud Texan, Baylor Bear, and Navy wife. Her hair fits her personality. She is a morning person. Big time. She gets more done before 7:00am (when her kids are allowed out of their room) than some people get done all day long!

As far as credentials go, she holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA in Economics from Baylor University. In 2020 she was recognized as a Top 50 Women In Accounting. She worked in corporate finance before opting to become a stay-at-home-mom for several years after her first child was born.

This was an interview I did inside the Ambitious Bookkeeper Facebook community last year, but it was such an inspiring interview I had to share it.
