The Ann & Phelim Scoop

Everyone is talking about Joe Biden’s new VP candidate, Kamala Harris.  The media has painted her as a revolutionary moderate - but did you know that Kamala actually supports a ban on fracking?  Not only would this hurt hundreds of thousands of hard working Americans, it’s also not backed by science.  We explain Kamala’s anti-fracking position and how some in the media are trying to paint those who mispronounce Kamala (Comma-lah) as racist!

Also on this week’s episode we’re joined by our brilliantly talented friend Brian Godawa!  Brian is a biblical science fiction writer and he is incredibly talented.  He’s a former Hollywood screenwriter and he explains what it’s like to be a Christian conservative in “the industry” and how he’s carved out his own popular niche.  His recent book Jezebel: Harlot Queen of Israel is an example of “biblical fiction,” a literary genre that takes on biblical tales and “fills in the gaps” in the original story while still staying true to the original message.

Last week, we encouraged you to read the book American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins, whose author was recently “cancelled” because a critical review from one leftist blog led to a mob onslaught. Not even Oprah Winfrey’s blessing could stop the barrage of hate tweets Cummins faced earlier this year. In fact it seemed to encourage it! The onslaught was so bad, she admitted that she’s unlikely to write another book . . . and Cummins is a liberal!  We give you the full rundown on this interesting new example of cancel culture.

Ann rounds out the episode sharing a delicious recipe for Eggplant Parmesan, or Parmigiana Di Melanzane, as the Italians call it. We also take time to share some of the recent reviews and comments we’ve received on the podcast. We’re grateful for every single one. Keep them coming!

We hope you didn't have to watch the DNC Convention last night which was full of pandering from politicians who believed that they had the "secret sauce" of lockdowns and restrictions that stopped the coronavirus.  Most ridiculous by far was Governor "Hot Spot" Cuomo who continues to double down on his lie that he beat the coronarvirus despite over 32,000 New Yorkers dying from the virus.  And now, he's writing a book, all about how he handled the pandemic.  You won't believe what it's called and when it's set to be released!

We also bring you some frightening news from New Zealand.  Prime Minister and liberal hero, Jacinda Arden, has decided to postpone the country's election due to fears of the coronavirus.  In the whole country there are only 1,600 confirmed cases!  Remember when President Trump threatened to stall the election?  Let's just say the Prime Minister is getting a much different response.

Also on today's episode we bring you some interesting stories on the history of masks, the Australian Lockdown and much more!  If you enjoyed today's episode, please consider becoming a monthly giver: https://unreportedstorysociety.com/donate/

The mainstream media is grasping at straws as their "lockdown forever" narrative continues to fall apart.  Today we bring you the latest story in a mainstream media giant that should have never been published.  It's another case of speculation driven journalism that is furthering the COVID fear and panic!

Also on today's episode we bring you the latest on Governor Hot Spot Cuomo and the debacle with the 9/11 Memorial that was scheduled to honor the fallen.  It was canceled due "coronavirus safety" - but thanks to public pressure it is back on!  We show you why it was so incredibly hypocritical that the memorial was even threatened in the first place.

Today we bring you a funny (or not so funny) story from across the pond.  In Ireland, the chairman of the tourism board has resigned in quite the scandal after he was caught on holiday in Italy!  Don't miss this story!

Finally - the Roaring 20s are back and it's not what you think.  Speakeasies, hidden parties - in lockdown states it looks like a scene from The Great Gatsby - without the economic prosperity!

New York City was once the most magical and powerful city in the world.  Now it's an example of how restrictive and ultra-radical policies can destroy a vibrant city.  On today's episode we share some shocking stories from New York.  Whether it's the rapid collapse of luxury retail or the erosion of some of New York's most classic neighborhoods - it's no surprise that those who can afford to leave are fleeing quickly.

We also bring you a story from Los Angeles where a friend of ours received a shocking letter from a preschool.  You won't believe how schools are overstepping their boundaries in the name of "safety!"

Finally, we bring you a debate!  Who is crazier: California or Wisconsin?  The answer isn't as simple as you might think!

Have you heard about the TikTok craze that has Generation Z hooked on the short video app?  Should TikTok be banned in the United States?  Should you let your own children and grandchildren use it?

Joshua Philipp of the Epoch Times is a renowned China expert and he has the inside scoop on the controversial app.  You’ll love this informative episode!

Many of you enjoyed last week’s take on Michelle Obama’s podcast, so this week we’re discussing all of the hypocrisy in episode two.  On the second episode of Michelle Obama’s podcast, she invited another guest from her inner circle - Michelle Norris of NPR. Unsurprisingly, this episode was filled with as much hypocrisy as the last!

We end this week’s episode on a lighter note. Recently, a “Karen” at a Kroger grocery store harassed an employee named Andy, who she believed “didn’t do enough” to force her fellow shoppers to wear masks. Thankfully, the internet sided with “Kroger Andy” and a GoFundMe set up in his name has already raised over $20,000! We love hearing stories like that. If you know of any - send them our way!

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse in California, Gavin Newsom and his band of merry lockdowners have done it again.  After a massive mismanagement of COVID data, one of the state's leading experts on COVID-19 has resigned.  Newsom has also announced that the state will be unable to pay out full unemployment benefits that were decided by the Trump administration over the weekend.   We discuss the latest on Newsom's shortcomings.

Also on today's episode we examine an article by our friend Lionel Shriver who points out some very interesting points about the pandemic in the U.K and the "overselling" of the virus.

And how are "COVID deaths" impacting total deaths across the world?  In the UK, total deaths are down drastically from previous years.  Are we over-counting COVID deaths or have deaths magically declined?  You decide!

We are so happy to welcome our friend and COVID-19 data expert Justin Hart back on the show!  On today's episode we discuss the race to herd immunity and how the United States must work to achieve herd immunity instead of implementing new stringent lockdown measures.  Even Governor Andrew "Hot Spot" Cuomo is opening schools in New York because he believes the virus has run its course in the state.

On today's episode we also discuss the true risk of COVID-19.  Are you more likely to die from playing football than the virus?  Are older Americans more likely to die from driving a truck than from COVID?  Justin breaks it down for us!

Also on today's episode we discuss the victimhood mentality that fuels COVID-19 restrictions.  If you enjoy this episode -- please consider becoming a monthly giver!  Donate here: https://unreportedstorysociety.com/donate/

The New York Times is absolutely out of control -- and no one is fact checking their lies.  Today we dissect one of the most outrageous claims from "The Paper Of Record."  Is America really the worst modern country in the world in terms of containing COVID-19?  Is the virus overtaking our daily lives?  If you've been a loyal listener to the show -- you'll know the resounding answer is NO!

Also on today's episode, we take a look at one of the latest COVID-19 hoaxes.  You may have heard of an Arizona State University professor dying of COVID-19. . . . the story is completely untrue.

We also take a look at Twitter and Facebook's new censorship against President Trump and give you the facts about how "immune" children really are to COVID-19.  Big tech is on the wrong side of history on this one!

The Obama's never cease to amaze us!  After a massive deal with Spotify to create podcast content for their platform, the Obama's have released their first podcast.  A podcast all about Michelle!  And who did Michelle interview for her first big show?  Her husband, former President Barack Obama!

We listened to the show and we've pulled out the most hypocritical and the most absurd pieces for you to hear.  From their thoughts on Black Lives Matter to their opining against wealth and greed -- you won't believe the audacity of these wildly out of touch elites.    We also take a fun look at some "property porn" and a look at the Obama's many elegant homes across the country.

Just when you thought the pandemic and the lockdowns were almost over, countries throughout the world who were praised for taking stringent action against the coronavirus are now seeing new virus spikes.  In Victoria, the second most populous state in Australia, a stringent new lockdown has been implemented that nearly prohibits leaving one's home for nonessential activities.  Additionally, a 8PM to 5AM curfew has been put in place and police are enforcing compliance.  Is a new wave of lockdowns on the horizon?

Also on today's episode we take a look at some mind boggling stories in the San Francisco Chronicle, destructive teachers unions, and how the lockdown will severely damage the mental health of our children.
