I’m now halfway through my Expat Auction Challenge. Just two months left to buy a UK property at auction from Hong Kong. 

A potential holiday let that was unsold at auction provides the backdrop to this week’s episode, in which fellow podcaster Rod Turner of ITP Group, auctioneer Andrew Brown from Strettons and Jim Demetriou of SDL Auctions offer their advice on how to build relationships with auctioneers and get into their Little Black Books.

Building relationships with auctioneers is only half the battle, though. If you manage to get onto their list, you need to take action and perform to ensure that they keep phoning YOU when a deal is to be had. 

Louise Tomlinson of LOCL Properties also offers advice on how to assess holiday let demand in your target area.
