Krista talks with Rhyanna Watson, the author of Brave, Beautiful, and Baring it All. Rhyanna is a mother, yoga teacher, and Instagram influencer who loves to engage with her online community. In this episode, Rhyanna opens up about her experience of sexual assault and post-natal depression and describes how, at her lowest point, she even contemplated suicide. Only the realization that her young daughter needed her enabled Rhyanna to carry on, and she describes how, from that moment, she resolved to do everything she could to help her daughter grow up to be a strong and confident woman. Through her work, Rhyanna encourages others to be true to themselves, challenge societal taboos about nudity and the female body, and live healthy, empowered, and compassionate lives.
TRIGGER WARNING: Rhyanna shares part of her healing journey from emotional and physical trauma as well as mental health, and it could be triggering to some. This podcast is meant to be a safe space for people to share their stories, and I also want to protect my audience from anything that could be harmful to them. This is a very powerful episode with a very happy ending, and I hope you enjoy it!
