Millwall came to West London looking to take three points for Brentford. The Bees were looking to turn their possession into points.
They got the goal. Saved a penalty. And held out for the last half hour as Millwall went for the equaliser.
We spoke to Millwall & Brentford fans plus Richard Lee and Millwall striker Tom Elliott (sort of) in the pub before the game.

Coming out of the early-mid-season-late-early-season international break, Brentford should still be buoyed by the 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough and ready to put the Lions to the sword at Griffin Park on Saturday.
With a plethora of A-team players limbering up in the B-team earlier this week, there could be some welcome fresh legs in contention soon, however, Millwall have had a decentish start to the campaign (well its better than ours!) and they’re not heading west just for a the fun of a knees up on a barge or a zeppelin… it’s shaping up to be a PROPER London derby on no mistake.
Please we talk to James Blewett - Millwall Half Way Line (@MillwallJDB) - about The Lions' start to this season, George Saville, Tony Craig and the Millwall Zeppelin
This week’s podcast took place in the Old Packhorse on Chiswick Green: hosted by Dave Lane, with Billy The Bee, Savvy Bee and ‘Shed End’ Matt Allard.

Beesotted caught up with Phil Giles directly after the 2-2 draw up at The Riverside Ground in Middlesbrough where Brentford unarguably should have had all three points.
He gives his thoughts on the current Brentford team - describing them as better and more organised that the previous season's team (with Scott Hogan Jota and Lasse Vibe scoring goals) that finished in 10th place.

It’s international week. Time to recouperate after a mad Saturday in Boro. The Beesotted crew met in The George IV pub in Chiswick High Road to shoot the breeze talking more missed opportunities. Discussing Phil Giles’ bold statement that Brentford were a better team this season than last. Who will fill Rico Henry’s boots now that he’s on the long term injury list.
Plus we talk about the forthcoming match day social featuring Bobby Booker on the morning of the Millwall Match - Sat 14th October. Bees lost 6 games out of the last 6 against Boro. Surely today was the day ?
Despite playing some great football again, Brentford were pegged back twice. Going ahead twice. But drawing 2-2.
Boro fans taking on this podcast Brentford should have had all three points today.
We spoke to #boro & Brentford fans in the pub after the match.
