Billy Grant, Dave Lane and a load of Bees fans pull together an impromptu pre-match podcast discussing the forthcoming season's expectations. Wether the pundits have written us off again (as we discussed where the newspapers from The Times to Sky to When Saturday Comes predicted Brentford would finish). Plus we discuss the forthcoming Sheffield United match.

The season is approaching. The Beesotted crew met in the virtual joint to discuss the pre-season friendlies of the past week. How have the new players been shaping up? What players are being rumoured to being tracked by our rivals? What are the thoughts of the fans in the run-in to the new season? How are the Hong Kong Bees feeling for this next campaign. And what do we have to look forward to at the weekend with the Bees playing a dubble bubble – the first team home to Celta Vigo and the B team away to Dulwich Hamlet.

Beesotted headed West this week and had to settle for a pint in a bowling alley rather than a lovely pub, but taking in the Bees’ friendly game at Oxford allowed us to watch some live footy while doing the Pride of West London Podcast once again.
Not only is there some really insigntful thoughts and news shared by the Bees faithful about on field issues, we catch up with the Brentford Football Club's manager responsible for marketing and ticketing, Kurt Pitman, to ask him about the club’s progress off the pitch ahead of an import new season and a critical couple of years as we gear ourselves up to the new stadium move.
Hope you enjoy this week’s pod.
