Huddersfield came to Griffin Park chasing promotion points. The Bees were coming off a good win against Forest.

To be fair, Huddersfield stopped the Bees playing their usual free flowing game by pressing them hard.

The Bees had a pretty decent week picking up a point away at Ipswich - which easily could have been three - before steamrolling Nottingham Forest 3-2 (the match was not as close as the scoreline) to chalk up another victory at The City Ground.

Next up Huddersfield as the Bees get ready to do battle against one of the top 3 sides in the division.

Brentford went to Forest buzzing with a good run of results (3 matches unbeaten) behind them. Forest meanwhile had beaten Brighton 3-0 in their last match and their fans were feeling confident.

Brentford played some brilliant football and totally dominated a game in which Forest scored two goals that really flattered them.

Brentford were looking to build on their victories against Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham. And they started well against Ipswich before going behind to a very well taken opportunist goal from the edge of the area.

But Yennaris scored a fantastic gold after a magic flick lay-off from Sawyers. After that it was one way traffic pretty much as Brentford pushed for the winner.

Spring is nearly upon us and the Beesotted crew are in fine form as another victory - albeit a rather hard-earned one against bottom of the table Rotherham - has put the Bees on the front foot for the final 1/4 of the season.
