From spy flicks to quests, heists and whodunits, Will and Kevin dig into the films whose plots run on MacGuffins — in a topic chosen by Patrons.
Whether a plot device or narrative decoy, MacGuffins can be found in everything from The Maltese Falcon to A New Hope.
So, what is a MacGuffin? How does it work? And who are the filmmakers who have deployed it, toyed with it, and even Artoo'd it?

The next main show episode from Will and Kevin was meant to be Best Death Scene, but they hit a snag after recording the show with a guest. Unfortunately, their audio was lost. That left them with an incomplete taping. Rather than try and do it over, Will and Kevin have decided to come back to it in the future.
Instead, they will record an episode on a topic suggested by one of their Discorder Patrons, Lara. Best Guilty Pleasure Films! In the meantime, enjoy this "outtake" release that hopefully serves as a suitable farewell for what would have been a brilliant episode.
Will and Kevin dive into the scenes of characters keeping a secret and carrying off a persona, whether masquerading in disguise or cavorting out in the open as they go undercover.

Next week, Will and Kevin will release their 53rd main show (Best Undercover Scene), and right now, it's a long episode. Whenever they have recordings like this, they try to whittle them down to get them to a listenable length. When they do make edits, those moments are consigned to the bin, but as Will is putting the final touches to the next ep, he has put together an outtake from the coming episode. In this outtake, Will and Kevin talk about William Friedkin's Cruising from 1980—a controversial film at the time, but one that they found plays a lot more conventional now.
Silver Shamrock!

There could only be one franchise to bring this series home, and as Will and Kevin began the season with a John Carpenter/Debra Hill film, they ended it with a John Carpenter/Debra Hill sequel.
In 1982, Tommy Lee Wallace spun off the Halloween franchise into a standalone film with the Michael Myers-less Halloween III: Season of the Witch. At the time, it was written off as a misfire, but today, it stands proud for many as the second-best Halloween film.
It's Kevin's final pick and the last film of this Horror October. Happy Halloween!

The opening theme of "Stop Look and Listen, It's Halloween" is from Pete Antell. All episodes are written, produced, and edited by Will and Kevin.

Will and Kevin tackle Time Travel in more ways than one, from films focusing on characters going back in time, forward in time, messing around with time, or being trapped in time.
