After a bit of a hiatus and a crazy Live Show with the 8th Immortal Andrew 'Joey' Johns, The Ball and All Podcast is back in the shed along with one of the most down to earth and underrated athletes on the WSL tour - Connor O'Leary.

Born and raised in Cronulla to parents Akemi, (a Japanese surfing champion before moving to Australia) and Finbar (a local shredder on the Cronulla surf scene) Connor was practically raised in the ocean and taught to surf at the same breaks where Aussie surf legend Mark Occhilupo got his start. Down to earth, humble and with an incredible work ethic - Connor has had to grind and persevere more than most just to earn a shot at the Dream Tour. With this podcast coming at a really pivotal moment just prior to the Australian leg of the WSL Tour, it was great to get a chance to sit down with a bloke in the prime of his career and understand his journey thus far and what makes him tick.
