Rita stresses the importance of keeping the focus on the victims - not just the celebrity or political figure you may currently despise. It’s important to pause and ask ourselves if we really want the truth or just our version of the truth.

Welcome back and happy new year! Have you heard a Tax Revolt being promoted? Rita begins today’s episode complaining about taxes - something we should be doing way more often.

Rita then discusses some changes happening within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Namely, an executive order directing HHS to stop hospitals from preforming ‘sex-rejecting’ procedures on children and how that relates to Medicare and Medicaid.

There are also the changes to the vaccine schedule (moving from 72 recommended doses to about 38) and the flipping of the food pyramid and the inevitable divide on whether these are good things or bad things.

In the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk there was a feeling of being unified but in the months that followed that camaraderie shifted back to confusion as many of us were left with questions that couldn’t/have yet to be answered.

Without a firm spiritual foundation, these topics and the questions surrounding them can feel confusing, frustrating, and stressful. You may feel as if you’re being tossed by the waves - Ephesians 4:14.

As Christians it can be difficult to find a middle ground in questioning everything and nothing and knowing what to believe.

The need for discernment has never been greater but God has given us the gift of the Bible to be our guide. 

A lot of our questions may forever go unanswered and that doesn’t mean we need to give up the pursuit for truth, justice, and freedom but our ultimate goal should always be to seek God’s will and walk the narrow path.
